I have had it for a while.

It's really fast, but Windows Live doesn't work on it and if one page freezes you can still go to the next tab, but it'll just be blank.

It's a billion times better than Explorer though...

I use Firefox on my laptop but I like to use the Windows version of Safari on my PC. I just think it looks cleaner and runs more smoothly.

Faster than FireFox? I must disagree.

    Hi,

Is it faster because of speculative downloading? Because that can get you in a lot of trouble if your not paying attention.

I keep meaning to check it out but I actually like IE7 once you get it tamed and such.

I downloaded it when it was first released and there were a lot of flaws that I noticed. I used it for a day before I quit using it. I don't know if it's been updated yet, but I may have to try it again...

I think I will probably only download it to test web site functionality - just like I do with Internet Explorer...

FireFox's add-ons are unmatched, and unbeatable as far as I'm concerned. Some of the add ons are god sends for web devlopers.

As far as "faster".....FireFox seems pretty speedy to me. I don't mind waiting few extra milliseconds on FireFox..

I will download Chrome today and give it a spin. :gj:

"Faster" is a pretty broad statement. It loads websites faster? It allows you to have faster downloads?

There are so many variables that can affect the speed of a download or a webpage load. I think what browser is used would actually have a minimal effect when compared to other variables.

Opera's the way to go. It's all I use. I've used just about every web browser out there, some you've probably never heard of, and it's the best IMO. Firefox is a close second though. Thing is nobody tries it, my sister was a hardcore Firefoxer and she converted after using Opera once.
