Tampa Show - March 7 & 8

So we are probably going to go to the Tampa show in March, and I had a thought. (scary indeed)

There are several bp.netters that are in the Jax area, is anyone interested meeting up and driving over together? Maybe we can pick up some mid-florida peeps along the way.

I thought it might be kind of fun, since a lot of times members could be at shows and you'd never know!

In fact there are a lot of FL folks on bp.net, maybe we can organize something with all the bp.net folks that plan on heading to Tampa.

Just a thought. Anyone interested?

i might be down. i went the last time they had it in bradenton. is it actually in tampa this time?

We went last year and it was at the Florida State Fairgrounds, according to the website it's at the same place. Address for the Fairgrounds is Tampa.

I live in tampa. The fairgrounds is at the intersection of I-4 and I-75. If you miss it, keep going to Cuba.


I think I made a post about meeting up with some b-netters at the show. i have a very bad cold right now so maybe i wanted to and never did, but anyway it would be nice to meet some people.

The casino is right beside the fairgrounds so that would be a great place to chat and have a drink.

Tampa is tomorrow. I plan on going with hubby.

Are there any other peeps that are heading out that way and want to meet up for lunch/dinner/and-or a drink during or after the show?

I'd love to meet some of the Floridians we've got here.

I will be going to the Tampa show on Sunday. We always stop on the way back and have dinner somewhere so I would be up for that if anyone wants to meet.

I am always wearing my purple Kelly's Balls T-shirt at every show (I have been told if I wear anything else I am in Camo:D). If you see me please stop and say Hi! I love to put faces with screen names!

crap i forgot about the show!! i am going to pick up some snakes tomorrow.

I might try to come down on sunday. Someone post tomorrow and let me know what kind of show it is, if it's worth the drive.

GAAAAH! I'm going to Sanibel to visit the grandparents, flight leaves in 4.5 hours. I'm so tempted to try and make it, but realistically not possible.

Besides, I promised the girlfriend I would hold off on any new snakes until summer.

I just get jealous of places that actually have reptile shows, someone needs to get on that in MN.

Hey does any1 no where the show is at? The St.Pete Times Forum? I live in tampa but dont know where the show is and i watn to go. Please help.

I live in Tampa but I'm definitely going to the show! I know I'm new and no one knows who I am to recognize me but it'll be fun to know that I may run into a few of you :). I plan on getting a Fat Tail Gecko if I can, or maybe a cool Leopard Gecko morph. I'm going tomorrow, very excited.

I almost ALWAYS wear a mythbusters teeshirt. Makes it easier for people to spot me, just yell "Wolfy!" and I'll look around blankly with paranoid suspicion on my face. Unless I don't hear you, because I have hearing loss..
Anyway, hope to see some folks, who'll be there on sunday?
