You decide what male breeds my pastel female!

I need some help deciding what to breed with my pastel female! The males that are breeding at this point are the Mojave and Enchi. They both breed any female within 15 minutes. The Super Cinny is small and may not be able to breed. The Fire poss het albino is small aswell however is over a year old. The yellowbelly is a proven breeder who has not been tried yet. I also have a pastel, Spider, And Lesser who are not breeding yet but are of perfect size and age.

I like this question because I always pick whatever will make a bumblebee! :P

*On a side note, is running a few co-doms through her an option?

I would throw a few different males on her. It will not matter who fathers the clutch, because they are all codom. You may even get a variety of morphs out of the clutch.

I may end up doing that. I have 12 normal females and thats what im doing with them. Some have had 4 males with them lol.

Yes, the lesser bees are HOT!! My favorite is the queen bee, so producing a lesser bee puts you that much closer.

I voted super cinny. Pewters are an incredible morph, plus you would have a 50/50 chance at them with the rest of the clutch being cinnies! I don't see how you could go wrong with those odds ;)

how would you guys go about getting lesser bees with that? do you mean lesser pastels? i would go for the lesser male and the fire male, fire bellies and lesser pastels should do the trick.

I believe they mean that it's a step closer to a lesser bee....not that you can get a lesser bee in one generation. ;)

well not really, because a lesser pastel would be a step towardsa queen bee, a lesser would be more useful on its own to getting a lesser bee than a lesser pastel. when bred to a spider female obviously

I voted super cinny.

I voted yellow belly just because I like the look of the YB X Pastel.

If you want some of the big game morphs (if that is what you want to call them) I would run through the spider, lesser, or cinny.

Really I do not think you can go wrong on any of them, they are all really great choices!

Well do what you want to dont let us decide buttttt if I were you Id breed pastel x pastel and get supers... I love super pastels one of my fav's, but that is jsut me

It would be awesome if you could breed the pastel and get a super pastel female... grow her up and breed her to the super cinny... just imagine... and entire clutch of pewters... :cool:

Yeah the super cinny is about 400 grams right now. I have another pastel female that is almost 1,200 I think im going to pair him with her in a month and see what happens there. I put the little fie male in today to see if he will do anything. I am leaning towards the fire or enchi. I also like the pastave.

I dont think ill pair the spider with her. I already have a bee and I want to produce something less produced.

I would breed the super cinny. You should get about 1/2 cinnys and half pewters.

I would run the mojave, the super cinny, and maybe the pastel thru her. That would be an awesome clutch no matter what!! ^_^
