I agree they do look similar. A lav albino is easier to produce though if you got the cash to get some hets or even one or two homozygos ones.

To make a glow you'd have to have 2 dbl het caramel albino/ghost parents. It's a 1 in 16 chance to hit the glow but a 1 in 4 chance to hit a lav albino with two het parents. So yeah if you have the cash to put up it is easier to get a lavender albino.

WOW, that much for a caramel glow? Woah! They must be worth A LOT more than lavs then, right? But yea, once i get the cash, i am definately going to buy a pair of 100% het lav albino to hopefully produce some, but even the hets are EXPENSIVE!

Personally although i see the way people think they look alike to me there is no mistaking them. then again the glow is one of my top 3 fav. morphs. don't get me wrong, lavs are hot too, they just don't make my jaw drop quite the way glows do

I agree on looks. Of course, I do a lot of writing, so I tend to pay much more attention to detail.

I don't think they look similar at all. If anything I think young Bananas somewhat resemble Lavs but even those look quite different as adults.

You need to see them in person, they look nothing alike other than both being ball pythons. Keep in mind not all caramel glows look the same, just like not all pastels look the same. Same goes for lav's.

I heard that you can't even see the true color of a lav. albino on camera?

In my opinion, both are hot, so I'd be spending my money on the Lavender.

You're talking to people that keep ball pythons... I'm pretty sure most that have more than a few snakes are a pretty good judge of detail.
I don't label my normals, I know them all by slight variations in pattern.
I agree that writers pay attention to details, disagree with the "much more" part of your statement.
