    I have three leos, only one ever screamed and it scared the bejeesus out of me when she did it the first time. And she had already grown into her adult colors by that time (but was still young). My patternless rainwater albino girl. She was a mess! I don't care how prepared you think you are for that scream, it makes you jump every time!

    PS...Dale....I was spraying him, for some reason he was having a really bad shed. Never seen that before in ANY of my 20+ geckos. He didnt like me helpin him out!

    Lol! You caught the scream really well! My husband claims to not be able to hear the hatchling scream - only a hiss. I will have to remember to test his hearing with your video!

    One of my geckos who I bred did that as soon as she came out of the egg, and whenever we sprayed the tank for the first couple of months. Hence the name... Screech.

    Hmmmm... apparently I don't hear the scream either. I played it with my husband in the room and he says, "Could you please not do that? It's terribly annoying!" All I heard was a squeaky hiss!

    So I showed this to a friend of mine and no joke....this is what he said.

    "Dude, thats so messed up. There are other ways of gettin the stuck shed off that are far less harmful to the gecko"

    He got his first gecko like....3 weeks ago.....hahahahahahaha

    I used to have 2 Leos and neither of them did anything like that. I don't think either of them ever made any sort of sounds.
