Hello all!!

Well, I'm new here. My name is Tara. You may know me from various other reptile forums and also myspace as SouthernBoaGurl. I am very very new to reptiles in general. Adopted my first red tail boa from my ex who lost interest in him and wasn't caring properly for him. I work full time as a secretary right now and also am going to school full time for nursing. I really love all snakes and some ampibians as well. I don't like spiders much at all, but did hold one at the last reptile show that I attended so I'm working with my fears I guess you could say lol!! Oh, I'm seriously considering starting a ball python collection this year. Would really love to get into collecting and breeding reticulated pythons but due to space limitations, I'm thinking ball pythons would be a great start and they're just so darn cute too lol!!!!

Anywho, that's me in a nutshell. Hope you all enjoyed reading and look forward to reading everyone's posts and learning more as I go along!!

Welcome Tara. I'm new as well. New to snakes too! In fact I had my first encounter with them last week. I hope to do it again. I don't own any snakes but I am sure I will eventually. Just need to learn more about them. You'll have a great time here. Everyone is pretty friendly and likeable. (including the snakes..well their photos! LOL)

Where do you we put pictures? Do I just put them here in my thread?? And how do you get a signature?? I didn't see that option on my about me section :(

For images click on the little mountain Icon(next to the little e-mail thingy) and type in URL. If you need to upload pics go to imageshack.us or picresize.com Voila. There you go!

As for my snake encounter all pics are in my introductory thread. I met a Burmese Python(8 footer, scared the crap out of me..LOL), Ball Python, and other. Will be meeting some new ones soon. :)

Not sure where you're talkin about the little mountain Icon thing though, but I have photobucket images that I can input here. I can just put the image code if that's suitable.

There are are a bunch of Icons at the top.. starting with B for Bold, and than they go down. It's on the right.It looks like a mountain with a sun. You just copy the URL in there. Or you can just use the HTML for it. It's just an easy way to put up pictures.
