    Around 20 months old I believe. They're rather smaller than other localities such as a Malaysian or Sumatran though.

    I do think with a few months of good sized meals they should gain some healthy weight.

    Yes! That to be true of all "Blood Pythons".

    Its my understanding that this particular locality to color up a little slower than the rest. But for the most part these animals just get better with age. You really should see they're adults colors no later than the 3 or 4 year mark i believe.

    Finally got a chance to take a couple of updated pics of my Bangka's. I got mine from Paul directly (from the same parents)...he was born in 2006. He is starting to color up nicely.

    Thanks... I too forget how small the hobby really is :) Will be fun to watch them develop and see how they compare.

    BTW...sorry it took so long to get these pics. I have been building him a new cage and he just hasn't been very photogenic or socialable lately.
