Repticon - Gwinnett Fair Ground - The pictures
I have to say I have seen some improvement compare to last year and will definitely be back maybe even as a seller someday...........for now I will just there as an enabler

The only downside still people bringing their pets.

As always cool to see some familiar faces or beat-up on familiar faces  and nice to meet new ones.

    Ok the pics

Salute! Je m'appelle Matt. Avez-vous aimé le spectacle ? ( Se cache si vous pouvez le comprendre) ___BTW no idea if I said that right!

That picture of the Anole blows me away! The picture of me...not so much:P

It was great meeting you Deb ( - the naging to get FrenchFry lol, but hey, not I have a beautiful new little pet!) And I can say the show was 110% better than any other repticon ive ever attended.

Not an anole a day gecko ;) , their skin is very sensitive (which is why they make good display animal but poor pet), can look at them but not touch them because their skin break so easily which is a bummer because I like them, but I like to handle my animals so I guess not for me :(

I am so tempted to use my superpowers and delete that photo of me! I don't know when you got it, but could you have possibly taken a more unflattering one than that?

Nice pics, but holy crap--that gecko looks horrible! It looks like a giant day gecko--they are actually fairly hardy and their skin is really not that sensitive, not at all like the skin of some of the other day geckos. That animal should absolutely NOT be for sale, let alone on display. It has so many scars too in addition to the new, open wounds--I have to wonder how the poor thing was being housed and what it was being housed with. :(

I am thinking the same thing LOL! The whole time I thought she was taking pictures of Fry, never knew she got far enough back to get one of me, let alone me looking INTO the camera! Darn you Deb!

I soo wish my camera was not dead for this event. it was so totally fun. i was just trying to find what i needed and get out because it really wasn't my dad's cup of tea.

Did anyone see Bill Cagel's table? I got a real cool looking (imo) guyana rtb from him, but was a little inquisitive as to why he was giving it so cheap. i sure did grab that sucker up though. did anyone see his table?

i noticd that alot of the tables were not labled. i wish they were, i was looking for a few in particular.

haha sorry. i was so excited when we got there i was running from table to table draging my poor dad around. it didn't even occur to me to look for anyone, i thought everyone was coming today (sunday) lol. i was in a green hoodie, myself, i was the only one in the whole show carring around a bookbag, it was a red jansport. i came PREPARED, i was not about to carry around all the stuff i was actually intending to pick up.

Sorry I missed everybody. The show had to be one of the best Atlanta show in the past few years. I just hope the vendors did good so they will be back next year.

I have purchsed from Bill Cagle in the past. He is a very nice guy and I never had any problems with the animals.

Personally I use the same setting than I do when taking pics of my collection at home.

    Natural light
    Indoor setting
And of course the use a macro or super macro depending on the case.

I just used the standard settings on my camera. Was not really in the mood to dink with everything. Some of the shots had flash and some didn't. The light there was not that bad so it was not a great challenge taking pics.
