what should we get!!!!!

ok we are going to the narbc show and we are going with around a 1 grand budget. we have as of now only 1 adult female normal that is breedable and a 2008 spider female that prob wont be ready next season. so i think we need females but what should we get we prefer a co dom. we have a 05 spider male and an 08 pastel that will be ready next season. so what do yall recomend.

Nows the time to grab some 08 females for sure! I'd look for a double gene carrier... Shoot for a triple gene combo in a few seasons maybe...

so you feel i should get hets? im always nervouse when getting hets because you really have to trust the person so im hesitant to get them lol.

i personally love bee's so I would get a pastel since you already have the spider your half way there if you wanna make some little one's

Not hets really... More like a pewter or some other codom/dom double gene morph... You know... any type of bee, pewters, pastaves, etc etc etc

with a 1K budget I'd look for a nice Bee or a pair of Hypos.

But thats me :D

we want a bee bad but we have a bee project already (we want to make our own bee) its just a goal of ours lol. we are thinking maybe a mojave and a lesser or something along those lines.

ok i see more of what your talking about now, so now we may try for a pastel lesser or a pastave hopefully a 06 girl to breed next season. but what should we breed her with our spider or our pastel.

I would say breed the pastel to her with high hopes of getting female pastels out of the clutch, more female pastels, mean more bees in the future:gj:

with 1K i'd get a killer GTP but thats just me.

lets see id get me a pinstripe, yellowbelly, pastel yellowbelly, fire

or i would go lemon blast(youd have to shop around for that price)

Yeah, I'd say get a pinstripe, a mojave, and a lesser. Dunno if you can get all under 1K, if not, then get the first two that will get you there. You can only get 1 snake for that money that's already a double-gene, so for me, I'd rather get 2 or 3 co-doms/doms for more project options and make me my own double-gene ones.

Okay, you can tell I have nothing better to do when I'm answering breeding questions... I'm really no expert. I just have pets.

I would go for a hypo co-dom female combo. That is a female breeder that would give you many great future breedings.
Since you need females for supers and recessives a girl like that can give you alot of possibilities;)

what about a pair of fires? maybe a fire and an albino female? or you could for a a pinstripe female and a coupla more pastel females?

I would personally look into a genetic reduced/banded. It is something that doesn't get played around with enough in my personal opinion.

i just make a list of what i want and how much it typically goes for.
then i make a list for other things i need like caging,incubators
you really want to stick to things that are typically to risky or costly to ship.

as for snakes i really dont know what you can get locally but id stick to just females. by the time they grow up the males are darn cheap.

i hope that show goes better than tinley went. i seen alot of ppl not buying anything.
