Name my new Ball Python.....

Hi,

I need help naming my new pastel bp. I have never been good at naming animals, so I seek your expertise. Here's a pic to help you....

I'm not sure why the pic didn't work....

Is there a certain post count that I have to achieve before I can add attachments? Anyone know?

Your best bet would be to host the image on another site rather than doing what you are doing.

I tried visiting the URL you put in and get a blank page.

You also need to be a member of that site to view any threads.

Try using photobucket, it's very easy to use and only takes a few seconds.

Nice pastel you have there! My male Pastels name is Dante, female spider I'm still thinking, and the normal I had was named Syrus. I have a weird thing about naming animals I usually look up God and Goddess names.

I also tent ot look up god/goddess names. but our ball is named for a voodoo pristess.
I aslo tend to look up anything relating to magic to help with nameing. I think it all just depends on your interests.
I also have a rat with a strange name, it came from some reasearch into my husband's family tree...he had 6 generations of men nameing thier sons the same thing, so I nammed one of my favoite males that.

Same here :D I've always been heavily interested in Ancient Egypt and especially their pantheon, so once I started my collection that was the first place I looked because I'm terrible with names too lol

I'd suggest thinking of what you're really into and see if you can apply that to the snake. Like if you really like cars or mechanics or whatever, maybe Axel lol! I don't even know if I spelled that right

Sorry...I guess that info helps. He is a male. Approx. 3 feet and 400 grams.

Animals I have had named in the past were all inspired by The Simpsons (even though I am damn near 30 years old) lol. I had a Veiled Chameleon named Milhouse and I currently have a Bearded Dragon named Cletus. I have gone through all the male Simpsons character names I can think of and nothing seems to match.

Are you sure you used all the male simpsons' names...can always go to the fan site and be sure.

i'm 27 and still watch every chance i get (even own all of the first set of BK movie toys, and some BK posters.)

I was thinking Smithers....but the wife doesn't like it. Some other options are Otto, Jimbo, Nelson, Apu, and Moe. Any opinions on these?

Lol. If you're a Simpsons fan you must like Family Guy or Futurama, or American Dad as well?? Maybe go through these characters' names and try to find one that suits your new buddy. :D
