    Hey Everyone,

was wondering who might be thinking about going to the NARBC show in Arlington for 2009. i tried to go last year but N.Y. got some baby snow and cancelled the flight. trying again this year to make it out there. know nothing about Texas and looking forward in going & meeting a couple people out there...

Hey! I will be there with Rapture-(Diana), Aonean-(Dustin), our friend Aimy, and maybe MamaT-(TaLisa) !

We gotta all meet up! :) Not sure if there is already a "BPNet" lunch scheduled, but there's usually a bunch of us that go eat, *drink* and swap stories and such at least a few time during the show... If there's not one in the works, let's get one planned!

Been waiting since I got Alice back in March. I had always seen the write-up in the paper each year and thought it would be really cool to go. I've made sure I'm off work that weekend and am now counting the days! I live in Arlington so don't have far to drive.

Definitely gonna buy something...trying to decide between a RTB or a nice little morphie BP. Wish I had a bigger house....

I have a few questions for those that have gone to many shows:

    1) How much less will a neonate Gray-Banded Kingsnake cost?
    2) Will people keep their animals on hold so you can buy them sunday afternoon, to reduce stress on the animal?
    3) Are animals cheaper sunday, as opposed to saturday?

    Thanks :D

    1. not sure !
    2. depends on the breeder, some dont & some will...just gotta ask.
    3. i have seen at shows the prices to be cheaper on the last day and closer to the end of the show. some breeder, some dont want to bring back their collection would like to sell them before they go back home... my opnion.

no idea about the shows, but online I've seen them for $550-$900. My guess is roughly in the $550-$700 range.

What I meant to say was my goals for this year was to get a pied at the show (if the price is right) and I'm also going to purchase a hypo pastel from Joe Compel this year but I do agree that he has some killer animals. I wish that he would go to the NARC in Arlington but he only does NY shows and Daytona. :(

I bought my pastel boy in april 2007 for $300. prices have dropped significantly since then. You can probably find a male pastel around $100, females around $200. For spiders, I'd say males $300 and females anywhere from $400-$600 depending on the breeder.

pastels prices have dropped very fast withing a 2 year time frame... bought my pastel sisters 2 yrs ago for 400 each & got another pastel female last year for 250. males u can find for very cheap...my pastel blackback male i got for 100. so it depends on the breeder but might find some really good prices at Arlington ! spider prices have gone down also, i paid 450 for mines 2 yrs ago. i have seen males for 200 & female 300-400.
