Pastel listed on craigslist

I found a BP advertised as a Pastel on sale for $70. Pastels usually don't go that cheap right? Could this be a trick? The ad says the snake is fine, hasn't bitten (:mad: lol)anyone, eats weekly.

Any thoughts? That does look like a pastel but how sure can I be? I've heard of people getting ripped off. (Snake could be a pastel look-alike, could have RI/mites etc.)

Look for clear belly, green or very light eyes. And of course, a yellow look about it. ;)

From THOSE pictures, it doesn't look like a pastel to me.

Not great pictures (I assume they're from the ad)... it doesn't look like a pastel, but I wouldn't say it looks "completely" normal either. It has a lot of blushing and the top of its head is really light... hmmmm...

I'm not sure if it's my computer settings or not but I'm not seeing much for colours there except for black and some greyish greens....must be a normal.

From those pics he would have had a better chance of trying to pass it as an axanthic....but the price is telling the story in this add.

Even with bad colors, I would say not a pastel. The flames and blushing on a pastel would not look like that. Same with the depth of the colors on the side of the snake.

Beautiful normal, if it was female I would snag it, but it is a CL snake... so always be cautious. From pet store to pet dumping ground. God bless CL.

the waterbowl is clear.. that is the aspen underneath it...:P

Is this BP local to you? If it is, go look at it. You'll be able to tell when you see it.
