It should be about the same as an adult amel. "Creamsicle" is just a name given to amel hybrid corns with a rat snake. While I have seen that creamsicles can vary from conventional amels, they often look the same.

Yeah i knew they were hybrids and was just wondering if they darkened as they got older or what. All I could find were pictures of Amelanistics. Thankd. for the info.

I have heard that some do change in thier coluration just like the Candycanes as they get older. The white on some of them loses thier purity.

I didn't know they were a hybrid. So, my snake is not really a corn snake. What would happen if you bred say a male creamsicle with another regular corn snake, say a normal?

I'm pretty sure that a creamsicle/normal pairing would produce rootbeers, but don't hold me to it...

We had one good egg from a creamsicle/normal pairing last year, that stopped developing at some point, so we didn't actually get to see the results...

This is Papa, our adult male creamsicle. He's pretty light, as you can see:

And two of the three snakes in this entaglement are his sons, from a pairing with another creamsicle. The pinker one is just a regular amel.

Ok, now I am a little smarter than I was the other day. I did some reading and found out that Corn snakes are a species of Rat snake. I didn't know that. That explains why someone would cross the two. :D So, my creamsicle is a female. We named her sunkist. What morph male should I get to breed with her to make some really cool babies? Thanks.

Creamsicles can vary quite a bit in colour. I've had them be litterally Ornage and white, just like the frozen treat, red and white, and then weird orangy-yellowy with and without white.

I don't have any pics anymore but I had them for many years.

Because most don't know that they are actually a hybrid they are in many many cornsnake lines.

Breeding a creamsicle to a normal, unless it is a het for albino, should get you all normals that are het for creamsicle BUT depending on what you breed those babies to you may or may not get creams; they might just be normal albinos or one of the many different phenotypes of albino that corns come in.

It's pretty much a crapshoot unless you go cream to cream and even then I've had oddballs pop out.
