New Tattoo! Thanks Haylee!!! (Mindibun)

So I sucked it up yesterday and sat in the chair for 3 hours. I am sooo happy with the result and I have to say a HUGE thank-you to Haylee (Mindibun) for designing the additional. Originally I had just the butterfly (which is not filled in yet) and now it look so much better.

I choose the lotus because when I was a kid I had a mad fascination with water lilies. Whenever we would go camping or out for a canoe ride I would hang my head over the side of the boat and desperately try to reach them. There was just something memorizing about a beautiful flower that nobody planted, that floated in the middle of the lake, and that I could never manage to pick it and take it home with me.

Nice design and line work. I really don't like when a tattoo artist thinks he has to outline every detail. My new tatt has no outlines actually. He bloodlined it then did all the color with shading needles. He also did negative space shapes which I really like.

I do like your choice of colors too. Keep us posted when you get it all done and it has peeled like to see how it turns out and holds its color.

That's very cool. I honestly would suggest leaving the butterfly just a black outline...the contrast between it and filled in and colorful flower is really nice...

I am thinking about just having it shaded a tad bit but with black instead of color, I am going to have the tattoo artist sketch it out in color and in black.
