I'd like to own a burm myself (not just through work) and a red tail (hopefully for christmas *crosses fingers*) and I'd love to get back into Chameleons again, either Panther or Veiled.

Re: what other herp projects would you like to get into
I'm not much for herps with legs but I would really like to get back into leos. They are just too cool and with all the new morphs and such that have come out in the last few years I think now is a great time to get back in.

Also I'm seriously considering pursuing some hognose morphs.... Would love to get my hands on an axanthic but I just don't have the capital right now. May be getting a het albino pair soon though so it would be awesome to be able to hatch out some cool little pink and yellow hoggies :D

Beardies, because I adore them and their personalities.
    Tegu's (on a small scale)
    Woma's and Black Headed Pythons
    Cresties (it's all Laooda's fault!)
many more, but the above will work for starters

If I had the room... definitely milksnakes or corn snakes. I really love colubrids. If I had room I'd definitely add loads of them. They're so easy to care for and come in so many different colors :)

Re: what other herp projects would you like to get into
    - Beardies - again... too funny, love them guys, would be a good lizard for my son.

    - Crested Geckos - we loved these at my boy's reptile b-day party

    - Veiled Chameleons - always wanted one

    - Frogs - any type - we are going to do a tadpole to frog study in the spring, but a Pacman / Pixie would be fun as well.

"I" would love to do monitors again but there is no way in this house! My wife has already said if a snake escapes she is "staying at the St. Regis until it is found...!" :snake:

I've always really liked Angolans but never owned any. For the past 4 or 5 years, I've said this year I'm getting me a few pairs and its just never happened.

On the lizard front I've always wanted and just picked up a few of these guys

One of these days I WILL have blackheaded pythons.

I'd also love to do more with Tortoises but the space constraints are a bit difficult, especially in the winter time when you're this far north.

After a year or two of cresties I'll decide if I want to expand into other rhacs.. I'd love to get some leachies and chahouas.

We'll see what happens in the next two years or so, lots of work to do before I expand my scaly family much more.

This is easy for me... I could go on forever about the species I would love to work with.

    CHONDROS!!! Oh yes...One day...

Calumma Parsonii (Chameleon)... With being banned for export since '94, and the fact that not to many have had success breeding in captivity... They are way out of my price range...and Experience level atm... But some day. They are the Largest Species of Chameleon Recorded.

Dart Frogs... Have always wanted to give them a shot.

Chamaeleo Montium... I am on a list to recieve some CB Babies in the couple months... These guys are very impressive... I can't wait!

Red Rudis... Another mountainus chameleon from Africa that I have been wanting to get my hands on for a while.

Re: what other herp projects would you like to get into
I have a bad habit of over doing a lot of things.... I want to breed some..

    - leos with my girlfriend (she loves em)
    - some red-phase chondros...FAVORITE! They just look evil!
    - A couple boa morphs
    - a blood
    - a really light albino burm. They are my absolute favorite snake of all time.

And if you can count it, some orchid mantids. They are ridiculously beautiful. If you haven't seen one..you should check em out.

But most of all, if it falls under this "herp project" category, I can't wait to make my incubator! You guys won't believe what I managed to get to make it out of!! :D I wanted a Coke fridge...but I've yet to see one made out of one of these!! You'll see...eventually!! buahahaha TEASER!! I pick it up tomorrow! :taz:

I have already bought a pair of Sabogae "Pearl Island" boas, but have not received them yet. It is still too cold to ship. I am very excited about that project. I would also love to get into Angolans and Black-heads.

I'd like to actually breed a few of my snakes this year. And I'm going to. I've had up to 15-20 snakes at once.. but was content to just have them around as pets and have never bred any. So this year I'm gonna start with my corns.. I'll soon have a female corn on the way to hook up with my Normal Het Caramel male this year! Maybe end up with some nice butters and albinos..

Well - both, actually. Sorry I messed up the jargon. The red neonates are shmexy, and what the end up being is too! I really meant a red phase amazon tree boa though. Soon enough, soon enough...

I must admit...I'm surprised the incubator didnt raise any brows. :weirdface I just got home with it...so I'll be posting up some pics in a few!

Either a blood or a boa will be next for me though. I wont get a chondro or amazon tree boa untill I have the room to display it nicely. For right now, I am a broke college student!

[sidenote] I just picked up my fridge. The thread can be found here. [/sidenote]
