How are you monitoring your temps? Do you have a Gradient in place?

As far as other animals... I was watching a Beardie in a shop bob his head frantically as he stared out the glass. I was curious as he coudn't see any other animals, till I got to his level, and turned around, Across the isle, there was a cricket keeper with a pic of a Fem Beardie on the label... She was smokin hot in Beardie world cause that pic had this guy going nuts! So pictures, and even reflections from quite a distance can cause them to act this way.

Lol, i love beardies! That's hilarious! He was probably going, 'Woo Whoo! Peel it all off! Whoo!' It'd be a sad realization when he finds out she is not real and yet still sticky.

Do you have any food sources for him out in the open that he can see? I know when I had mine I had to hide the crickets and w/e else behind the aquarium because if I left them in front it was torture for him.

Plus I used to feed him superworms and silk worms with yellow tongs, so anything yellow that went near him he tried to eat it. I had a measuring tape once and I was going to measure how long he was and he wouldn't stop biting it lol

He is probably bored and looking for something to do. I have a several beardies who do that from time to time, it is actually good excersize for them. I take them out and put him in an outdoor screen enclosure I have. Once in there they would immediately calm down and take in the scenery. I think in nature they cruise around alot and explore to find a new place to bask. I would chaulk it up to boredom, nothing to worry about. I bet if you take him out and give him a change in scenery or different enclosure to explore it will help cure the boredom and satisfy his curiousity.

The reflection definately could be it... You may want to try a backround, but instal it on the inside of the glass. Sometimes a backround outside the glass can just enhance the reflection the Beardie sees.
