    ID help please?
My friend got this snake, he believes its a corn, but had no idea what kind. He asked his friends, other herpers, but no one could ID it. He's not a corn fan so he gave it to me. Can anyone help? I originally thought bloodred from his discription, but when I actually saw it, its a purplish burgandy in color, not red

Is this the same friend who didn't know what it was?

You can listen to your friend if you like, but wasn't this the person who told you they thought it was a corn?

Just as you were told on CS.com it is an African House Snake. Two forums telling you the same thing and you still want to belive your friend and not us.

    Same as on fauna.

My guess is, it's the same as on every reputable site.
