    The North "Poll"...
For those who celebrate Christmas... I have been polling this question to see what the general population prefers. My sis and her BF love to debate over htis topic. Which is your preference... And remember... Everyone is entightled to their preference... So lets not start any heated debates here. ;) :D

When Decorating the tree... What kind of lights do you use?...:)

I cant Believe I forgot to say ....Happy Holidays!!!!

I didn't vote cause to me 'colored' means multi-colored...we do a color-themed tree. We have a white tree, and change out the lights and ornaments each year...this year, the lights are all blue, and we have blue and silver ribbon, bulbs, some white pinecones, and white/shiny beads on it. They're solid, but I think it'd be neat to have blinking ones, sometimes.

I'm voting for a purple tree next year. :)

My sister uses blinking lights on her tree....I went over today and every time she would walk back into the room she would say, "Damn, that tree keeps going out!"

I have no idea how THAT could have happened!

i voted white but blue is also good sometimes both but typically white looks good and the blinking ones are kinda of annoying

What I use isn't an option either: Fiber optics. I have a nice little 3' tree with fiber optic lights built in. They don't exactly 'flash' or 'twinkle', but its more of a wave effect of colors. VERY pretty and rather hypnotic.

I used to use twinkle lights, but the sets that had variable speeds since I can't handle rapid flashes of light either (they give me horrid headaches). I prefer colors, but there's something majestic about the solid white lights when done well. :)

We use multi-colored non-blinking LED lights on the tree.
I also use a million strands to light up the entire inside of the house. Sort of like a ginger bread house!! It looks very cool when all of the other lights are turned out :D

Plain white, non-blinking lights with either blue or green balls and such. O_O I like a little bit of a theme.

We have a 10' fake tree with solid white lights, and red and gold bulbs/ornaments on our downstairs tree, and a 8' fake tree with solid white lights with random ornaments that we've gotten over the years.

I love multi colored lights. They just make me feel happy inside. Solid white lights just seem so sterile and cold to me. Why bother wasting the electricity on something so mundane and boring?
