    Social
Could I get some of you to do some testing on my site?

    http://www.centralexotics.com

Register, and login. Click on the link named "Social" and do some messing around. There are some setting I want to change and whatnot yet, but I want to know if it is a good system? What do you like about it and what do you not like about it?

Would you use a system like this (not just on my site, but if this was Facebook or MySpace .. would you like the way it works enough to return?)

    Things like that.

Any help with testing is greatly appreciated.

    ... anyone?

I don't need you to promise to be active, or please give me traffic, but I need to know if my site is useful or not.

I've been messing around a little bit. No real issues yet.

I also received an error message when I was first signing up and submitted. I had to reload the page and log in later. (sorry I didn't note what the error was)

You got an error after registration?

Thank you for letting me know, I will look into it.

Is the system itself easy to use?

    Wat would you change?

Where should I place the bandaid?

The applications seem to do nothing...

And I'm not really sure what the Social is supposed to be other than showing up and saying "Hey. Here I am!!" kinda like MySpace?

And LadyOhh was taken... I had to add an exclaimation point, and I don't remember ever registering?

I created a user for you a while back, it the before time .. in the long long ago. I sent you the info, but I fail to remember it now.

I don't know if I will keep this around on the site. I don't know if there is a use for it, or if people like it .. or if it work right. I asked you guys to test to let me know how you feel about the whole thing.

If the site had more users, would this be something that would interest you?

Is it easy to use ..

    Things like that.

Also, the login thing is puzzling me. I am working on it! Registration still works, but it throws that SQL error.

I registered with difficulty. Received error messages and was told that I left required info blank when it wasn't blank, time after time. After registering I found navigation to be seemingly deliberately tedious. Found also most available data to be present for your personal benefit. Needs to be both streamlined and have more options for visitor participation in my opinion or you are dead on the prairie. You axed.

The data you speak of site wide, or the info you enter. If it is the info that you enter into the profile, all of that stuff is default .. not my stuff. I would enter more stuff and customize it a lot more if I decided to keep it.

Actually, entering college info was REQUIRED before i reset that.

What navigation are we speakign of? Site wide or just the "social"? If you were to change something around, what would you change?

    Re: Social
Just so we are clear, I just want the Social link tested. If I were to keep this .. If I were to turn the site more .. Social Netowrking type thing, I would change the way the whole site navigates, all I need tested now is the social system.

Opinions on the site are welcome too, but keep that in mind.

Also, if I were to keep this there are a lot of cool things I can do with the site based around the social aspect. Like top users, news updates, top members, activity site wide .. ect.

    Re: Social
I didn't realize that you only wanted us to look at the social option. Also it is worth mentioning that almost anyone on here is probably more computer savvy than a broken down old dude like me. Keep working on it. Get some topics started.I will put my 2 cents in.

It wouldn't let me register... at all. I got all the things filled out then I clicked 'ok' or whatever, tried to log in and it told me 'token invalid' or something like that. -shrugs-

Try now. I see your user is made, can you login?

I took the little advert welcome thing off of the page, so now the only way to login and out and register is the little login form at the top. I have tested it with 3 users registrations, and all of them worked without any issue.
