Once they figure it out... :)

I posted last week that my snakes all locked during the full moon and the snowstorm. NO ONE had locked before that.

I just put them together again before work and came home to 3 locks. :)

Guess they are in love or something?

Just amazes me that they can take forever, but once they figure it out they go all out and do not seem to miss many oppurtunities after the fact.

Very cool bruce i was in the same situation, no locks for 2 months them bam everyone locked. I then seperated everyone and tired to feed put them back together and bam again right back to the locks. So i dont know if it was the weather the smell of another males sperm on the female or what but now about 30 min later after putting them together male is doing work!.

Second(I never thought I'd admit this) Belle's a pretty girl. O_o

I have to say... I wanted a Fire for sooooo long, and to have him working the magic this soon makes me ecstatic. If I could get a few girls this early on I will be over the moon. And I really like this snake, he is just a wee sweet snake. :)

At this point, the best I can hit are possible het females... but I have my fingers crossed. I love blues... they are my fav hypos by far. Yvon's mom was a WC female - an amazing slate and yellow snake, so I guess there is a chance this may not prove out, I will have to find out. But she is not a phantom ghost that much I know.

Hah. Thanks. She is an absolute doll. She is the closest shade of caramel that I have seen in a rat. Just a random color that popped up this season for me. We had to keep her as we figured we would not see that color again...

I hope so... I am OK if he takes his time. I may pop the Fire in with her if he stays on feed and is doing well.

But I do think those two could have some funky patterned pastel babes.
