Latest Ovulation

This is my girl Rosie, aka Whole Lotta Rosie.
She ovulated on 12/6 and I snapped this pic.

She is well over 3000 grams and is just starting to show signs of her prelay shed.

Lets see if anyone can guess how many eggs she lays?

5 good ones and one slug is my guess.

Thanks, usually her back is really dark but since she started glowing the blushing has become real strong.

Nice snake, congrats on an early start to the season. Nice to have some eggs on the ground soon.

I got 11 out of a 3000 gram girl this last season and 8 good and 2 slugs out of a 2800 gram girl.

To answer both questions they are black pastels from VPI line. They have very black backs thus the term black satin. Its like saying Nerd lemon pastel or Matrix blonde pastel, just a name of a certain line.

I'll go with 9-10. I had a 1400 gram girl give me 5 fertile, and two girls at 2000 and 2600 give me 8 and 9. You can generally count on one egg per 300 grams the snake weighs.....not always, but it's been a pretty good guidline for me and others.
