Can you identify this boa? I was told it was a rainbow boa.

Definately not a rainbow, more like a common colmbian bci or other smaller common boa...very nice looking though...

its a mexican boa from the looks should max out about 5-6feet depending on the sex i might be wrong

I'm leaning more towards a Nicaraguan personally. With the size and darkness of the scales... definitely a Central American of some variety.

common colombian bci - could be a dwarf though due to saddles on its back... in which case i would say a nicaraguan

I'm 99.9% sure it's not a common, it's too dark. My first thought was an Argentinian

Argentine or Colombian is what I first thought. Its probably too dark for a Colombian though.

I would agree with one of your thoughts on being an Argentine. I have an Argentine X Columbian that looks similar and the sibling to mine is at my friends now and looks almost identical. Either way, it's a gorgeous snake!

I would say Nic X Colubmian cross....maybe


Its hard to say with boas, because they can vary so much, just within 1 species

I say Nicaraguan BCI.

I can't be exact on the species, but I know for sure it isn't a rainbow. Still, awesome Boa! :gj:
