Message For Everyone, That Ive Gotten Off To A Bad Start With

Hello everyone, i would just like to say that im deeply sorry for the bad language, and the pictures on my website. I have made a promise to myself to keep my cool, and all the pictures of snakes that arent mine have been taken down, and the site will soon be taken down also... I will most likely delete all of my youtube videos, and start over, doing research before i say anything, and be a lot more professional, no bikini girls on my wall :) So i would like to just take this time to hopefully get a new start with everyone here on ball-python dot net. I know this is a big community full of pros, so i wan't to learn from all of you as much as i can :) So let me know if your willing to get off to a new start.... Even if you don't i will understand.

I am very proud of you for admitting that you were wrong. As JLC stated, that is off to a very good start.

You guys have the desire, just have to fine tune the rest. You are starting off at an early age and that is a big plus.

You have quite a few people looking at your vids and asking you questions, if you have the knowledge to answer them correctly and not be so misleading you can grow a nice rep with the reptile world and have some really nice babies in the future to show for it.

After looking over your site and seeing some of your vids I just was bent outta shape over what all I had seen and read, like most others I would guess. I wouldnt delete your site and all, just take down the stuff that isnt yours and do away with your caresheet. There are plenty of caresheets around for people to look over. Get some experience under your belts and then write up a care sheet that isnt a combo of many others rolled into one with some opinions added in.

I think the donate button is a crazy idea, but one that could actually work.......LOL Of course your attitude will determine the outcome of it. ;)

Hang in there, take the advice as needed and go with the flow here. When Mike emails me back about the site being down now I will explain all of this to him and see if he will give you this one without legal action. Just dont let it happen again. Sometimes it is just as easy to run and hide when you have hurt someone or made a mistake. Especially when it is people you don't even know. I'm glad that you have chosen to own up to your short comings. And are attempting to make things right. It is times like these that build character. Hopefully the people that you have offended and upset will also take this time to work on their own character and forgive you. :gj:

that took guts! be sure to ask questions and people will answer. im new here myself....been around maybe a month...and everyone here is really helpful with giving advice and critisim. you have to take the critisim sometimes and use it to improve yourself.

I believe admitting when you are wrong is a great step.

Keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with constructive criticism, this will only help you learn and grow in this hobby. ;)

If you are genuine in wanting to take this opportunity to learn from those who came before you, I can see us laughing about your rocky start in a few years!

The truth is, no one knows. It just happens. More often than could be considered coincidental but never in front of anyone.

So there, and not for the first time, amuck in estrogen up to his knees, our hero struggles manfully to escape the mire. The skeletal remains of his predecessors do not speak well of his chances.

Boot lost to the sucking goo long ago he strides forward one slow agonizing step at a time, using his hand to pull his feet out of puddled feminine wile and guile, mixed with a bit of overwhelming pride coated with feelings of inadequacy, he struggles to escape.

Looking back there are no tracks, the ooze fills them in almost as soon as he has made them. Looking forward, there is no end in sight.

Will this be the end of our hero?

Will there be further adventures?

Not if you drown him.

Much like a boy who has made a mistake and tried to make it right but is subsequently deluged by good will and wishes and attaboys, our hero could be smothered by the amount of estrogen in this thread.

Hopefully this boy can get a breath and a chance to prove himself not a doofuss.

Hopefully our hero will not succomb to weariness and will find his way out of Estrogen Swamp. He's done it before but it was a horrible journey that practically killed him more than once and did kill his favorite horse.

Get Kevin McCurley's book, The Complete Ball Python. It might help correct some of the incorrect knowledge you've received. It is well worth the price if you are really passionate about this hobby. And hang around here. You will learn tons.
