What would you pay for 08 spiders?

I found a post on Fauna by someone selling a male for 200, and a female for 250. I haven't looked in on prices for anything really, but I new friend of mine down here in Diego was talking about his snakes, and he said he got his female spider cheap for 350. So, yea lol would you jump on these prices? The snakes look in good shape to me (beautiful tbh, man i love spiders O.O) Just lookin for any input, thanks guys

Depends on what the spider looks like, I wouldnt pay $100 for an ugly spider

They are members here.....and produce good snakes, so I would pay it myself knowing where it came from.

I saw the post for spiders and thought, "i wouldn't afford it but why not look!" and then i saw that I COULD afford it, and made up my mind to shoot her an e-mail and ask about em. I also wanted opinions from the members here because I value your opinions :) Thanks again!

Price is not the only consideration I have when buying an animal

1# Finding the animal I am looking for, I just don’t buy a morph to say I have a morph, I buy based on what I am looking for and fit my criteria (and people I have dealt with know how picky I am :rolleyes:)

2# My second concern is knowing who my money is with, will the breeder be there for me before, and after, what is there reputation, how do they treat their customer

3# Comes down to the price

couldnt have said it better Deb. The seller is Kat (janeofthejungle here on bp.net) she is an awesome person and produces some of the nicest snakes I've seen around. But follow Deb's advice let the snake pull you and you will have a snake you will love for a lifetime.

Totally missed it was Kat (that's what happen when you don't read past the first post), I would not hesitate, Kat is a great girl to deal with and I have 2 of her girls right here and could not be happier with them. :gj:

She will be there for you before and after without a doubt.

i dont care what people say, i paid 225.00 at a show for my low white, high pattern spider and i was happy. just find one you like. i wouldn't pay more than 400.00 for a high quality spider

I just paid $350 plus shipping for my nice reduced pattern Spider female from Adam @ 8ball pythons.

Lateralus: You are always free to ask questions of a seller and investigate as many sources as possible. I applaud you for doing so. I would recommend the same as Deb and others here. Don't buy an animal unless the thought of owning it makes you grin like an idiot (or drool a little). Ultimately, this whole hobby is about what turns YOU on.

Actually, if I've got to be completely honest I kind of geeked out (kind of is a little bit of an understatement) when I saw them :banana: Besides the albino, the spider morph is the first morph I ever laid eyes on and it's been among my top five favorites for years. The moment I saw them, and saw you were in Cali, I flipped :D
