Current BEL prices
Anybody been to a show recently? What are the Blue Eyed Lucy's going for?

Re: Current BEL prices
depends on what what it was breed from. there is one in the classified section from a lesser to lesser breeding goin for $2500. if it was a phantom to lesser obviously way more money. it depends on the purity of the white also. hope that helps.:gj:

Re: Current BEL prices
I would say $2000+ from prices I've seen around, 100% agree with what KCBALLer said.

Re: Current BEL prices
Ok, yeah i know the price varies alot, just wondering about ballpark. I know when I first starting looking they were around $10,000, then last summer about $5000. I wouldn't be worried about what it was made from, because I don't want it for breeding, but purity of the white would matter.

Re: Current BEL prices
I have a Blue Eyed Lucy from a Sulfur Mojave x Sulfur Mojave breeding. She is about 4 months old now, and 400 grams give or take, and really changing color. I PERSONALLY think she has the Sulfur gene too, because she has yellow, pink, and orange coloration. She is not a run of the mill white snake, actually, not really white at all anymore.

Re: Current BEL prices
What morphs make the purest BELs? I have been thinking of investing in them but there are more then a couple morphs you can breed to get the BELs but I have read certain morphs produce a better BEL.

Re: Current BEL prices
I will try and take some pics today. I cleaned her tub out last night, and wow, looks like a Snow Boa, colorwise, with yellow overall body color, and pink and orange highlights. They may or may not come out great in a pic, but if most Lucies stay really white, I am more and more certain there is Sulfur in her. Like I said, Sulfur Mojave x Sulfur Mojave breeding...

The above pic is old, right after her first shed, and a horrible pic, and does not show what I am talking about as far as a color change of sorts....I will be back.

Re: Current BEL prices
Like Aaron said it also depends on the sex, males will go for alot more than females. I paid for 5k a few months ago for my pb male lesserxhetrusso bel. He is 100% white as well.
