Steve, hands down! he was the greatest in my eyes! always will be. his passion for reptiles can't be matched!

I voted Corwin because he's a local around here and because I like his show a lot. I also like watching Steve Irwin too.

yeah, steve irwin is definatley up there for obvious reasons, i think overall, he does the best stuff with reptiles in general.

but that one episode that austin stevens did with the search for the king cobra was really, really cool, so he got my vote. the last 15 minutes of the episode is so amazing when he is face to face with the king, standing a good 3 feet off the ground. cool stuff.

Corwin is fun to watch, but Steve Irwin was a mad man....that time he got on his belly and let the Western Brown bump him in the nose...how can you beat that for crazy, and talented.

I loved Steve Irwin but I actually prefer Jeff Corwin. I like his personality and he's more relatable IMO. And he seems very passionate about snakes of all shapes and sizes- more than the other animals he finds. I remember one episode when he started screaming and cussing at the locals in Egypt for killing a non-venomous... Yup. I like that guy...

O'shae for sure. He is one of the most knowledgeable in the field when it comes to the giant boids....especially the Rock Python species.

I've always found Brady Barr's snake handling technique to be most impressive.

Brady Barr is annoying, he screams like a little girl, plus he doesn't the dumbest things I have ever seen. But its hilarous to watch.:twisted: :teevee:

Steve Irwin, hands down, for the love he showed snakes and all other creatures for that matter.

I voted for Jeff simply because I can remember watching him when I was younger and my son enjoys watching him also.

I voted Steve because of his barehanded technique. It is very impressive how he was able to work the venomous snakes without hooks or tongs. I personally would never try it. I do find Jeff Corwin's show more entertaining because he is just hilarious, but Steve's technique is unmatched.

He dressed like a hippo so he could infiltrate the herd.

That in itself is one of the greatest contributions to science.

I'm voting for Steve, but I really like Mark O' Shea's books.

Steve Irwin. He is what got me thinking that snakes aren't the evil creatures they are thought to be. I just love his passion and his true love for wildlife - it is not something you can manufacture just for a TV show. He really lived his entire life for the love of nature.

My kids used to watch Crocodile Hunter, now they watch Bindi the Jungle Girl. It makes me mad seeing all the comments on the internet about how Bindi is "abused" and "exploited" and all that. Yes, she may still be doing things for the memory of his dad. But, you can tell she loves it as much as her dad did. Give her a few years and you'll see her gain a more individual flavor and doing her own thing for herself more than her desire to make her dad proud.

I metJeff corwin in Omaha a few years ago. I bought his book and he signed it. I like watching him on TV but he is no Steve Irwin. Steve is as excited about EVERYTHING like a child discovering something he loves for the first time. Steve Irwin is my Hero and i will never forget him.

I have always loved Steve because he puts wildlife before everything:gj:. But i voted for jeff corwin because #1 he is alive, and #2 he is just hilarious to watch!

I like steve and jeff equally, and I like Austen because he really goes deep in search for these neat snakes, my fav was the retic episode. But steve has done alot for wildlife in general, and I really liked his work with crocodiles. But corwin has my vote for herpiculturists and snake keepers alike. He is also hilarious! I have had way to many good memories of steve that I can watch his shows still, and be very proud. He def didnt die in vain, he has a great crew and family behind him to keep up and build his dream.

The man is my mentor, idol, and inspiration. I cried for weeks when I heard he was gone, and I still tear up seeing anything he did. He was the Master - the man who taught many that reptiles are wonderful, beautiful creatures and not evil monsters. Only one other do I hold in higher regard than Steve Irwin.

Second would be Mark. He's a good guy, knows his stuff, and handles the animals very well. :)

I voted for Corwin. I like that he is a bit more cautious with dangerous animals and doesn't handle venomous snakes like like cornsnakes. He's also pretty hilarious and very relatable. I will always love Steve Irwin for his contributions and he was really fun to watch. It was a sad day for sure when he passed away.

Steve irwin was my idol for years, and I loved his show. But Jeff Corwin has a much more mellow response to ketching reptiles. He doesn't run and dive in head first to grab a lizard or something, sometimes Steve's energy was just to much and he pestered the animals more. I really respect both men though, and I love what they do. I really enjoy the show, Killer Instint, as well, with Rob Bredl

I could never bring myself to watch Steve Irwin. The man greatly annoyed me but if he got more folk interested in reptiles for the right reasons, then more power to him. I voted for O'Shea.

I voted steve as well. I actually have a stingray tattoo in memorial to him on my arm right below my octopuss tattoo. If steve would've lived through that, you know he wouldn't blame the stingray for doing what it did. After all, steve was in it's habitat.

I have to say my favorite at the moment is Nigel Marven (can't get enough of the "codger in the alligator's mouth" joke) - but only because Steve is gone.

Irwin and Corwin. I voted for Corwin though. I grew up watching Steve and Corwin. Never was a fan of O'Shea and Austin. I think it was Austin who on many episodes would find absolutely nothing. He'd go out looking for a particular snake, but would never find it. Corwin is just downright funny.

I like Jeff Corwin, but Steve could make anyone love any animal that they feared I think. He was just the best, with animals and people.

Steve all the way for sure. Like others have said, his love for animals of all kinds and passion for what he did was simply amazing. I still can't beleive he's gone. I remember when my little sister was younger and watched the animal channal all day long, he was always our favorite. The whole family would sit down together to watch him and we all loved it very much. Just a shock and so sad to have lost such a wonderful person in all aspects. Way to go Steve:gj:

Steve irwin was THE MAN in my opinion. It is very sad that we had to loose him the way we did. I hope his message of conservation will never be forgotten.
