Twin clutch update :)

Thought I'd get some updated pics & weights of these 4 ladies...

They were hatched between 5-23-08 and 5-25-08, and stressed me to no end. This was a really strange clutch, with 2 normal eggs, (one housing twins), 1 small boob egg, and 1 VERY small boob-window egg. Unfourantly the very small egg went full term, but the baby was deformed. BUT! These 4 are thriving! They are from 100% x100% het Pied. I'm hoping the parents prove their stuff this year... Anyhoo... I thought the growth rate was kind of neat between them all...

Thanks! Me too... they have never turned down a meal! I also reconfirmed their sex... all female. It wasn't EZ when they were so tiny!

Thanks Kim! Yea... I saved the egg the came out of (As suggested lol) and it's crazy to think that they fit in there to START with, but especially now that I think they are in the clear to grow up all big and strong... it's been a blast! :)

It was SO COOL!!! And thanks! :D But then came the panic of their size... the 3 small ones were started on 1 day old mouse pinks... :oops: But they are all on rat pinks now! :yes:

Thank you Bruce! I'm pretty sure they are all going to catch up with no evidence of being so tiny at the start. I held my breath for a long time, because I've read how some twins just fail to strive... I'm telling you, I think their attitude had a lot to do with it! lol :rolleyes:
