    what morph to get?
Hello to all. I'm just new to this hobby and I'm planning to get my first ball python. instead of getting a normal I decided to choose between a mojave and a spider male hatchling. up to now I can't choose and I can't get booth either. can you guys give me any advise on what to get?

I know this question has been asked too many times please bear with me.

    regards,
    marvin:)

You're right, this question has been asked a lot and I'll give you the answer that has been posted almost everytime.....buy from a reputable breeder and get the one YOU like the most. YOU will be the one looking at it and caring for it for years to come. Remember one thing, balls ARE just like potato chips!

I like spiders much better than mojos.

that is sooo true but if i were in your shoes but heres a quick thing of what i think of both

Spiders are a good choice because:They are getting more and mrore inexpensive their genetics have so many possibilitys and they are very cool looking (I think of them as super reduced patterns) but one thing to look out for is the evil spider wobble

Mojos are another good one because: They make all white snakes, are a very interesting snakes and also make very interesting combo morphs but less then the spider but are just as/or more mind blowing

personally i would look at pics of both find the one that is most appealing and ask them wich one is more mellow and has the best weight and health records

sorry for ranting and being of possibly no help but that is what i would think of whe buying

    Get what makes you happy!

Me personally I'm a sucker for spiders and their combos :). I've never been a huge fan of mojos but that's just my personal preference.

Just make sure you get your first snake from a reputable breeder, that they are well started (i.e. eating well) and make sure that you have everything set up for them before you bring them home lol.

thanks guys for your inputs. I have not yet seen the ball python's pics. the seller said the mojave is an import and the spider is a captive breed here. if I'll receive the pics I'll just post it here for you guys to see which one is a better choice. thanks again
