New Hogger

I finally got my first colubrid, there was a breeder at the WIRE expo today with a few animals, I chose the last little girl he had left. Just a normal for now, but I gotta get my feet wet with hogs somehow. I already love this little gal, the scalation is awesome, and their movements are very different from Ball Pythons. She has pretty sweet red tones compared to the males he had.

She's tiny for now, but I have a feeling she'll grow real fast. :D

She's nice looking! Reminds me of something BBQ-flavored, probably because of her shade:P, but overall she's a good looking Hogger.

P.S. To some other guys who hang out on this sub-forum: "Hoggers" will rule supreme against "Hoggies" Lol! The title of this thread proves that it will happen soon!

:weirdfaceWhatever, I do not know why you insist on trying to change the industry accepted slang for the hoggies (hognose). Or why you seem to want to provoke those of us who use it . It is an industry standard and you won't change it, except in your small circle of influence of those who do not know. To each his own I guess....:gj:

Yeah, I know, but it's worth a try. In the "Industries" here, the slang term is "Hoggers".

Thanks again everyone! They really do root around in their substrate like hogs, hilarious little girl! I hear feeding is pretty interesting with them, so I'm looking forward to that!
