But is this really helping our "learning community"?
Re: People and their threads
I actually laughed a bit because I wonder the exact same thing every time I post a thread.

i would'nt think so because knowing only a little bit or thinking you know will only lead them to giving false information or giving information that can potentially cause someone to actually damage something or hurt their reptiles due to taking advice from someone lacking the expeirience or true knowledge of the question at hand being asked. if that makes any sense the way i worded it. sorry if it doesnt.
Re: People and their threads
I would have to say blue is probably my favorite color.

I have to say, unequivocally, that I really like cheese. If you don't like it, that's fine... To each his own I guess....

I'm just going to say....lol.
But seriously, I dunno but it bugs me sometimes, but i think we are all guilty. I try to give complete posts when I can really help, but sometimes I either...dont have the time or dont know enough to give someone a good answer.

LOL, I just watched that episode last night. Definitely one of my new favorite shows.
Re: People and their threads
I think it's a good thing that people do attempt to answer what they know..or bring up some semi-related topic (if they are wrong, they can be corrected..so all members benefit). Also, it keeps the post at the top so that others do get a chance to see it and answer.
On another note: I also think that a few perfectionists harping on the other people's posting styles, if this trend continues, can put BPnet at risk of going the same way as what are now ghost forums. The "perfect" minority finding fault with the "flawed" majority is a good way to make members too self-conscious to post at all.
