Post your felines!
Figured I'd start a thread for people to post pictures of their cats. Although they scare the living jebus out of me...they do intrigue me :D Post away!! I will be posting pictures of my sisters, soon :)

She's a siamese mix, the girl we got her from said that there were all black cats in the litter. Regardless, she's VERY siamese, talkative and quirky.
As much as I don't like to admit, she's a great cat! :P

Re: Post your felines!
Pookie Bear, my eight year old. We found her in a neighbors backyard (along with two brothers), the day after her semi-feral mother gave birth. They were fixing to clear the property of brush.
Hating me for putting her on the porch for a photograph. I received "the evil eye" for quite a few days after taking this photo. :D

Picasso was rescued from an adoption shelter in Joplin, Missouri. She's almost two years old. She's a very active -coughdestructivecough- little girl. :)
The day we brought her home.

She started off with this.

Took her a few months, but now she can do this.

Re: Post your felines!
My "little" stray Kipper. When we first got him and took him to the vet, they said he was a year old. When we took him back a year later, they said there was no way he could have been a year, he had to have been about 6 mths because he had grown so much! He is 16lbs and not overweight at all. He can open the doors depending on what type of knob they have! He has also claimed me daughters bed as her own!

He looks like a Ragdoll! Very cute! That Breed can get huge (20lbs) and not be considered obese.

Yeah, the determination by the vet is that he is a Snowshoe. His hair is to short to be a rag, at least that is what the vet said.

Well, they're not mine in terms of ownership, but I do feed/water/clean up after them. I think that counts just as much! Lol

If by relatively tame you mean they like to play rough! then yes! lol. I don't like to go in there with Delilah especally because her mate died in Jan of '07, and ever since then she will be fine one minute, then the next she will just snap. Shamira's a lot more docile, but when she wants to play, she'll bat at you with her paws. And playing rough with a 400-700 lb animal (Shamira's 600lbs, believe it or not) means bloody noses and such. They really don't realize just how big they are, or how fragile us humans can be. We can't bring wheelbarrels around Shamira at all anymore, because when she was a kitten, the kids would put her in a wheel barrel and give her a ride around the yard. Well, now that she's full grown, as soon as she see's one she'll hop in it and want to go for a ride, but she ends up breaking it under her weight.

Here are my kitties, Spook is our domestic long haired calico (7 y/o), shes very gentle and never uses her claws for anything other than kneading when shes happy, and wants nothing more but to be petted constantly.
Miffy is our tiger kitty, shes 3. She on the other hand can be a grump. she's quick to swat at someone she doesn't like hehehe. Everyone picks on my Miff, they say she looks like a boy :irkd:
I love this pic of her w/ her tongue out.

Re: Post your felines!
*Sigh* I miss having kitties in the house. I've had a lot in the past, five at once when I was married, but we believe Ari is allergic to them. So, even though he loves cats, I have to wait until we have a place with a yard I can enclose and cat-proof to own another.
Just because I think they were all great, here are four of the five I owned last...
This is Misty, or 'Stoopid' as we called her.
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...ts-Stoopid.jpg
Here is my calico, Harlequin. Harley for short since she growled like a motorcycle.
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...ets-Harley.jpg
Tangerine - the 'cat-dog' cat. :) A rare female orange tabby.
http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...ats-Tangie.jpg
And, my sweet little Ophelia. Philly for short. I've never loved another pet like I loved her.

LOL! I was expecting you to say she attacks the wheelbarrel, not want to go for a ride:rofl:

Re: Post your felines!
Well this little girl is supposed to be my boyfriends sisters cat. But considering he's had her for over 3 years instead of the 30 days as first requested I'd say she's more his now. lol
Porti short for Portaphoy.
http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k1...17/timcat1.jpg
And she's a huge pain in the butt. Since she is no longer let outside (after two different times breaking her leg jumping the fence) she meows constantly. The only time she is not meowing is when she is eating. She even does it softly while sleeping. But we still love her but we just wear earplugs sometimes. lol

Twilight when my dad started feeding him...fatty:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...wilightCL1.jpg
Buddy, my dad's cat (Girly is Buddy's sister, they look alot alike except for size and of course Girly looks more feminine, but I don't have a pic of her. Both are pure black with the white star on their chests)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0Net/buddy.jpg
Tskitt (I just call her Kitty)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...%20Net/tsk.jpg
Next one's we don't have anymore but I loved these girls!
Kitty:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...KittyKitty.gif
Paka:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...20Net/Paka.jpg
I love my kitties so much <3
All of the cats we've had the past three or four years (not counting Paka or Kitty [with yarn]) were all feral, living wild on the Navy base here in SD. My dad started feeding Buddy and Girly when he moved into an office near them, and then found out a cat had just had five kittens near the Rice King, and he started feeding them. We got wind that catchers had been hired to catch and euthanize all cats on base, so we rescued Buddy and Girly, Twilight (who's their kitten), and all the kittens from Rice King (Hershey's from that litter). We got Tskitt from the dry-side of the base. She weighed about a pound and a half, literally skin and bones. I could see each rib and every ridge of her spine. Now she's in great shape and beating up Twilight cuz he's a softy. We ended up having a total of 10 or 11 cats at one point in time lol. Hershey's a buttplug though and only loves me when no one else is around. Typical guy

My dad just bought a cat with the same type of coloration. My mom calls her ugly, and dad calls her "Pum'kin". I should get some picks to share.

Re: Post your felines!
Aww, cute cats everyone! I have two of course. Mine are posted in my kitty post. Athena is a wonderful cat-Orange, black and white. I wasn't going to pick her but she caught my eye at the last minute. I spent about an hour with all the kittens from her litter and almost picked a Tabby kitty but she was like "NO! Pick me!" and was looking at me with those cute little eyes. She's amazingly smart and just so pretty. She knows a few tricks-high five, wave, and sit. I want a few more cats like her. LOL.
Jewel is my grey, and white Tabby mix. She's a little fatty-around 8 lbs. She's lazy and doesn't care much about treats. She just sleeps or messes with things around my room. She's more of a trouble maker than Athena. Of course she was named after the singer Jewel. My nephew took her to show and tell at his school when she was 8 weeks old. It was cute because they wanted to name her Meowy.
Both of my kitties were from Craigslist. I think Athena is about 7 months old and Jewel around 10 months. I don't keep track of birthdays very well. I think I got Jewel in May and she was around 5 weeks old. (I didn't know she was that young!)
I'll post more pics later!
