    Ordering snakes online . . .
I'm just researching some websites and I wanted to get people's opinion on this forum. I want to know if any of you have ordered any BPs online, which website, and if you were satisfied. I'm kind of cautious to do so, but I know someone who bought a snake at the reptile expo in ga on Oct. 25 and the snake died 3 days later. I'd like to know who to buy snakes from that gives some kind of guarantee. I'd prefer to hold the snake before I buy it, but I dont want to take a snake home and have it die. I live in GA so if you know any good local breeders that would be great too :gj:

I have purchased from NERD as well as Pro Exotics and have NEVER had a problem. Both were awesome! I've also purchased from smaller dealers on the web.

All of my experiences have been great.

In my own experience the only "large breeder" that I've dealt with and had animals shipped from were Alex Hue Reptiles (totally check him out he's got amazing prices on stonewashed pastels right now). His packaging was phenomanal (sp?lol) and the snakes I got were out of this world!

I've also bought from NERD but they are only 45 minutes from my house so I just went there to pick him out and pick him up :D.

Most "large breeders" offer a live arrival guarantee and guarantee the health of the animal for up to a week in most cases. Just read the fine print!

If you are ever unsure of a particular dealer/business etc.... You can always check the BOI.

I have ordered online from 8ball, exotics by nature, nerd, and j&j with 100% satisfaction from all 4. Dont be afraid to do business online with a replicale breeder.

Ive bought from 8ball, RDR, NERD and Bluegrass Reptiles over the internet and got the snakes shipped to me. I also made some purchases from classified ads and picked up the snakes in person.

I feel confident if the breeders are reputable, the snakes would be quality. I would not hesitate to purchase online....

I have bought animals online and had them shipped in from Garrick at Royal Constrictor Designs and from Lawrence at Superior Serpents. Both were excellent to deal with and the snakes arrived well packaged and in great shape. I am in NC, and I have also purchased from Cold Blooded Novelties. I didn't have those animals shipped, but I know he does ship, and they were great quality animals as well.

I e-mailed the guy to see if he could remember who it was. He bought the snake for his 8 yr old daughter and she is pretty upset. He is trying to find another one that he can get for $30 or less.

Right on I have my own dictionary as well and my father has a bad habit of putting two words to make one LOL

I am currently working with Adam Wysocky over at 8ballpythons.com. I am pleased with my experience so far.

He has been sick for about a week so if he doesn't answer e-mail him he will get back to you.

I'm currently dealing with a member here with purchasing a BP hatchling. I'm psyched and have no doubt that it will all work out OK. I'm apprehensive as well about getting a live animal and making sure it lives and everything.

Adam is a great guy...have known him a while and have several of his snakes in my collection. I was at 8ball fest then got in a pretty bad wreck about a week later, have been on the shelf ever since. Tell him Frankie asked about him and I may see him in Chantilly. By the way...8ball is a REPLICABLE breeder. :)

Adam is "Da Bomb"! I'm actually getting an 8ball python (indirectly :() female het ghost next week :D. I can't wait that'll be my first 8ball . Adam is by far one of the most helpful guys out there and his animals are top notch!

Just a little side note.... Once I get this gal I will have
    1 NERD spider
1 Alex Hue Bell line pastel, 1 Alex Hue black back normal
1 pet store BP (my baby lol)
1 JNJ NERD line lemon pastel
    1 local breeder, breeder normal
and my 1 8Ball het ghost!
I'm just all over the map as far as breeders go :D

Thanks man, my main projects the next couple years are going to be bumblebees, spiders, pastels and cinnies and hopefully if I can get a breeder cinnie female (fat chance lol) try for PEWTERS and possibly with the het ghost go for some 50%het ghost spiders and try for honeybees in a few years. Then further on down the road probably pewter bees (love them!) super pastels, silver bullets super cinnies and maybe POGs or SPOGs :D. The ghost project is kind of a new thing for me (she's actually kind of getting thrown in with a rack I'm getting lol) but I'm looking forward to working her into our breeding plans :D.

Sorry I know this isn't my thread I just love talking about my snakes

Adam throws off some of the nicest Cinnys in the business. I have a pair from him, the boy is breeding normals this year and I will be shooting for a Super Cinny next season.

The guy wrote me back and said he couldn't for the life of him remember the vendor. He bought the BP for $20 bucks, thats all I know =) Anyways, maybe I'll start another post to try and see if they can get another normal BP for $30 or less to replace the one that died. They are in GA if any of you know anyone or would sell one for that price!
