    Crazy Looking Mojo?
My two biggest Mojo's, including my crazy looking one!

The pics are flash free, just room lighting..... Fluro over head lighting and some UV which helps with lighting. The pics ain't perfect, but you get the idea.

Any chance it's a hypo-mojo? If someone were doing a "guess the genetics" game with that guy, that would be my guess. VERY pretty!

if i saw a snake looking just like that on a display table, i'd have a hard time pinning it as a mojave - it's mojave *patterned* but the colors are something a little more funky - lesser-esque?

I'd agree with the "hypo" idea, but i've seen hypo mojos and they really have a lot more purple. This one looks almost like it's been treated with a sepia filter.

Scott, I agree that is one hot mojo!
But I do not see the hypo reference. The lack of alien eyes is not an indicator of the hypo trait. I do agree that there has got to be something going on with her though. I would say pair her with a YB or a woma.

what was the parents that produced this animal? Could it be some type of Fire x Mojave cross? I agree with others.. there is something going on here, but I'm not sure it's a hypo gene... I'm thinking more of a Fire/Sulfur/Vanilla type scenario...

Good luck and post more pictures!! :D

Damn Scott either you don't post enough pictures or you've been hiding the goodies over there. I had no idea you had such a vast collection until recently! That mojo definitely has a unique look to it.

I have also been thinking about a lesser to her, go for the super and see if any others come out looking like her.... she needs to gain some weight before I do anything though.

YB has been considered also.... but nothing has been set in stone yet until she gains a little more.

Ooops, almost missed your post.... I purchased her a few years ago from Dynasty Reptiles. She just looked a little nicer then the other Mojave's he had at the time..... so I choose her. I don't know what the parents were, I would assume they were from a MojoXNormal or from a combo breeding involving Mojave.

    It does make things interesting!

huh, very interesting... has it every produced any offspring yet? I wouldn't be surprised you will see half the babies resemble something like the Fires/Sulfur stuff... in fact, I believe a Mojave x Sulfur has already been created and it does resemble what you have. I think that is a cross personally. If you have a super pastel to breed to it, I bet that would help. FireFlies are pretty easy to recognize I think?

Anyways, good project. Have fun and keep us posted :)

    Bristen.

I saw the sulfur mojos Eric Sandoval produced about a year ago or something like that.... I'm not good with remembering time periods, I just remember the animal/s.... LOL

She has not yet produced, but I'm hoping that changes this season sometime! :)
