id stop shopping there if i where you. bedding $4.80 for a 5lb bag of aspen or $6 for a 40lb bag of cyprus mulch. tank with lid $80.00 tops for a 55 gallon and thats large enough to hold any adult ball python. all the rest the prices are about normal any wheres. or just buy a 3x20x18 abs plastics cage bedding, thermostat, and uth for about $200.00 everything new.

In the US, if you go with a decent thermostat and undertank heat pad, a plastic bin and less expensive cage furnishings, you can actually put a full setup together for about $100.

Haha, well I just always overestimate on costs so that I never overspend on things (aka I don't end up overdrawing my account). And as for the bedding, it costs me about 10$ for a 10lbs bag of aspen, as for the tank, well Petco kind of overcharges.

And if you're going for cost effective, nothing beats storage bins. And as a warning a large glass tank like a 55 is extremely hard to move, which is why I usually go for plexiglass over glass, but plastic storage bins would be even better.

    Tub $3-$10
    2 Identical hides <$10
    1 UTH $15-$30
    Reliable thermostat $75
    Water Dish <$5
    Substrate free
    Digital Thermometer/Hygrometer $12
    Normal BP $20-$50

    Having a BP…………PRICELESS :D

Keep in mind that animal ownership is not cheap and that other costs will also be involved such as food, vet care (when necessary) etc.
