I hate alchohol!

Cremated my wee Granny yesterday and as per usual we went to the pub for a few drinks and to raise a toast to our wee Granny

I ended up getting home at four o'clock the smorning , I think, after walking home about two miles bouncing off every car, wall, lampost and even set a car alarm off by stumbling into a car. I made off in hurried but drunken fashion.

I now feel like I have died a million deaths :puke: Thankfully I have a plentiful supply of Kapake :gj:

im sure she was watching and laughing at you the whole way home im sorry for your loss and as far as hangovers go vegetables work great fir me.

I hate those mornings, but a good way to help is drink another beer! I swear by this it helps get rid of the hang over

Best hangover cure(besides another beer in the morning) is a McDonalds chocolate milkshake and a movie....

I don't do the old hair of the dog trick. I'd just end up hammered again. Never encourage a Irishman to drink. One beer is never enough :D

Thanks :gj: Only an idiot gets behind the wheel of a car when drunk plus it's not the police you have to worry about over here if you get caught by the police or the carnage you may create from drink driving. There's other people that like to have a wee word in your ear if you're caught drink driving.

Can of coke, two packets of ready salted crisps and a couple of high strength co-codamol usually see me right but todays hangover is a belter.

Becks, then cider, then Black Bush and the back onto the cider is playing a major part in this horrendous hangover.

See this is exactly why I stopped drinking several years ago. After falling in Hong Kong harbor (and being laughed at mercilessly by my shipmates) I knew something had to change. HK harbor is pretty nasty by the way. If you've ever seen it you know what I'm talking about.

Sorry for your loss. I'm sure being upset doesn't help the hangie much either. Drink lots of water.

When I would drink too much, Japanese food always worked well. Yumm....

Actually the best cure is a flinstone vitamin (or 2 or 3) before bed.

Gatorade AM actually works pretty well. A huge bottle of that and a few advil and I'm good to go.

If it doesn't completely disgust you its best to actually to drink again when you wake up, it will get rid of your hangover and turn into a nice little buzz and then you can take a nap....so Ive heard

I can only hope that I am loved enough to be so thoroughly celebrated when my time comes.

My cure for hangovers are orange Gatorade a advil and a vitamin with a lof of vit B in it!

Aye the Irish way :gj: My wifes father died of a massive heart attack nearly nine years ago at the age of fifty one. Shocking and terrible as it was, as soon as we got her father buried we all headed back to what would have been my wifes fathers local pub to raise a toast and enjoy the craic all the families. It turned into a three day party. Thats how i happens over here. Any excuse for a party.

My wee Granny was a brilliant wee lady. Ninety-two years of age and was fully independent up until five years ago. She'll be missed but not in a sad way ;)

I'm sorry for your loss. As for the hangover, if you can stomach it, drink a raw egg.
