So I have been here a while and was wondering if anyone on here is also a member (alumni or active) of National Fraternities?

I am a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, the Epsilon-Mu chapter at the University of Florida

So post em up and represent the Greek Community!

I am hoping that no one will be bashing Greeks on here, this is just intended to get to know others a little more.

    no bashing here...just envy!
many eons ago when I was in college I pledged but didn't get in.
I got over it, but I always wondered what it was like to be in that system....it seems pretty cool!

I was asked to pledge to a couple of sororities, but I never was interested...

But I was friends with a lot of the greeks in college.

Actually it's where I first met my husband, and yes there was alcohol involved. :giggle:

As for the LSS well... as it took me another 5 years to get a snake so that would be a no. :P

I was a Kappa Alpha Theta before being kicked out for *gasp* not participating in some things because I was too busy with my major (theatre). I was also a little sis to Lambda Chi....

I was in Tau Beta Sigma...a service oriented sorority for music students. But only the one year that I actually attended university as a music student (it wasn't for me)...so all I really experienced was the pledge process and getting inducted...which basically took up our freshman year.

Both of my sisters were Pi Beta Phi at University of Arkansas.

The colleges I went to were specialized small colleges that didn't offer Fraternities. :(
