It is day 54 on these eggs and no dimpling. All candle good and the babies moving around alot. Should I make a small cut in the egss or leave them alone?
From everything I've read (no personal experience) I would wait at leat a few more days. And there is nothing wrong with letting nature takes it's own course. Now to find that patience

Leave them alone..
If you are not comfortable cutting, I would suggest just letting them pip on their own.

Having only personal experience with three clutches myself - is it normal to have no dimpling on Day 54? All of mine started dimpling around Day 40 and later.

Re: Day 54!!
from the post i have read on here sometimes they say that eggs never dimple. some do some dont i guess. my temps and humidity are correct. i have checked them once a week since they came out. this is my first clutch also so its all a learning experience for me also.

Re: Day 54!!
It really depends on the dimpling and the amount of humidity you have in the box...
If you have relative high humidity, they may never dimple.
If your eggs are too dry, they will dimple much earlier.
In general, it depends on the egg box itself.
