Need Some Opinions ... LOOK !!!

I need some opinions about this pastel male i have

shows characteristics of being super pastel
but im not sure .

people who have seen it in person swore it was a super ,
and i thought when i got it it was different but i never gave it a definite category . but with all the observations its making me think a bit more ..

so let me know what u think
Now the only reason why i wonder about it is because i have seen super pastels that come in different phases of coloration , i have seen what was called a super that looked like a normal grazani pastel ..


No altering has been done to either picture but 2nd picture is a tad bit blurred ..

Its a very nice pastel, but no where near as nice as a super pastel. Supers have alot more blushing, whiter heads, Yellow is almost neon, and a few other things.

What where his parents? There is no mistaking a super for a pastel when they hatch, so that adds on to being against someone selling you a super for a pastel price.

I was actually thinking of more like the person i got it from didnt realize it might have been super i got it in a package trade deal ..

it was never advertised as super ..

i have seen many variations of Super Pastels (patterns , blushing, coloration ..)

I have no idea, But i wanted to add that he sure is pretty! Beautiful snake you got there!

Regardless of the poll its not going anywhere lol ..

im using him this season for Bees ..

This is 1 that just kinda threw a curve into my thinking of it .

and yes i agree he is very beautiful .. and he only gets better with every shed ...

Looks like a nice Pastel but definitely not a Super. Good luck with him.

Basically your saying what i thought , just when u have enough people sometimes say 1 thing , you sometimes just want to make sure yourself that you are correct ..

Nice pic of a super .. Im familiar with what the common super pastel looks like , but as i have mentioned i have also seen Pics and seen face to face multiple Supers that all varied in color , blushing etc..etc..

Shawn, he's beautiful, but agree with others that he's not a super. This guy of mine was on display at the Ball-pythons.net table in Daytona this year, and a lot of people mistook him for a super as well, and many offers to buy him (but he wasn't and isn't for sale). :)

Ya i agree with them to , but with all the people mistaking mine for a super just got me thinking that maybe with all the variations did i make a mistake .. so i figured this little post and poll would varify what i already thought ..

sometimes i like to put myself in check just to make sure im thinking correctly lol..

dont get me wrong not once have i labeled him as a super was just curious ...

He's a smokin pastel whether a super or not. He'll definitely make some nice lookin bees for you!

Thats a very nice pastel, a super out of that would look very nice. That purplr blushing around the face is a dead give away to a super. I hope You make some out of that line that You have and then cross those to fires and watch out... They would be the best pastels around..:)

looks like a pastel but to find out if its a super or not breed it to a normal and if all the babies are pastels then its a super if half come out pastel half come out normal then its just a pastel.

I heard this from somewhere, and thought it was useful.
If get a clutch of nice pastels, generally they will be similar. And even though one of them by themselves look really 'superish' if you put it next to the clutch mates (especially if there are supers in the clutch) you can definitely tell it's a pastel by comparison.

I can't say if he is a Super or not (I'll leave that to the experts), but he sure is beautiful!

He's 4 months old

He'll probally brown out when he gets older.

actually hes getting lighter with every shed not darker the little bit of brown in him now is dissapearing with every shed
