seems to be a lot of people asking about jags lately so i thought i'd post pics of my adult female... she's over 8 feet long and still growing pretty fast. her last two sheds were only about 2 months apart!

thank you everyone... i feel fortunate to have her, even though jags are about 1/6th of the price they are now as when i got her, haha. seriously though, icygirl, you could get into jags pretty cheap these days!

drew, the females range from 6-9 feet... the males are usually only about 5-7 feet. i imagine this one may get to about 9 feet. i've heard of some that are larger, but have never actually seen a coastal carpet over the 10 foot mark in person.

very nice, its sucks you took that big of a hit on her but really making your money back off of breeding her should be no problem. Do you have a coastal ready to go for this season? please keep me up dated I might be really interested in buying a male off you if you drop a clutch. Again really a quality Jag and worth every penny IMO.

thanks chuck... she's actually Napolean's (from AAR) sister... from the Cori Nguyen line, which involved a sire related to the famed MBB, just to give a little more info.

she will be paired with steve, who's a pastel yellow and black coastal... who was also a red baby. he was from a pairing of jag sib x jag sib from the red hypo jag line, both parents imported directly from jan eric engel in norway.

if all goes right, i'm anticipating these to be some of the best coastal jags ever produced... we shall see right?
