piebald with whitehead???????

ive been looking for a pied to pick up but i want one with a white head and pigment body spots. now that i think bout it tho i dont know if ive ever seen one. i just surfed around for a while and had no luck so i was wondering if anyone has seen any that they know of. thanks

One of the traits of the piebald is that their heads are patterned. I don't think you'd have much luck finding a white-headed pied. I know a few of the piedxco-dom morphs have had very small patches of pattern on the head and little or no color on their body but other than that (except for a couple paradoxes) I have not seen any piebalds with white heads. Hope that helps :D

You'll need to get a Pied combo...

The Super Black Pastel Pied has a white head!

I think RDR also produced a Lesser Pied with a white head.

What he said. Those are the only 2 pied combos that have white heads. It would be quite interesting however if there was a line of pied that had a white head. Someday...

Yeah, what they said :D. Anyone else see, and I can't remember what the combo was, but there was a pied combo that popped up not too long ago where it was all white with just a little circle of color on the head. I wanna say it was a pinstripe X pied or something like that. It was cool though, looked like it just had a little hat on :rofl:

What's this? I thought the Super BP Pied was just a legend, like Bigfoot. People claim that it exists and that they've seen it, but there doesn't seem to be any photographs or other evidence. :P

I could swear I saw something that Ralph Davis did to get a fully white piebald but I can't remember where it is. I saw it on one of his breeding pages but I don't feel like digging through it all to find it again.

Someone in Italy produced a champagne pied that just has a little spot on the top of the head and the rest is white.

I'm pretty sure that's the one I was thinking of. It's kind of dissapointing when you've got these high end morphs being bred into pieds and all you wind up with is a spot or at best just color on the head.

It wasn't a super lesser het for pied, just a lesser het for pied. He was aiming for a piebald with the patterned parts looking like a lesser instead of normal, instead he popped out something like a white diamond.

Yup I got that - but I was thinking if he bred two of those together he could get pieds, lesser pieds and super lesser pieds.

I just wondered if the only way to identifiy the BEL pied would be the colour of the eyes or if the pied gene would affect that too?

What color are the Lesser Piebald's eyes? Are they blue like a Super Lesser BEL?

thanks for all the good info guys and gals. thanks kinda depressing cuz i dont wanna try A MILLION dollars on a pied cross :rage: i guess ill have to settle for something else. oh and that lesser pied is pretty BA. i think it would look better with the lesser pattern tho same with that champagne pied... both would be disappointing if i hatched um. cool they made the combo but they could look way better
