    ASF's in Central Pennsylvania?
Anyone have any breeders for sale, or know of anywhere I can get them? I'd prefer not to ship them in, but, if that's my last option, I'll take it, but I don't know who ships ASF's.

If you'll be able to get to any of the shows in Pittsburgh (Cheswick), I know there are folks who always have them there. I picked up a few last month, and plan to pick up more at the October show.

There's also going to be a show in Carlisle, but I'm not sure if there will be ASFs there. You could inquire.

The Pittsburgh show is almost three hours away, and the Carlisle is a tad over two hours. The shorter distance would cost me $50 in gas. Maybe if I can con my husband into going... Lol. Thanks! Hopefully I can figure out a way of going.

RKZ Rodents has them in York, if that is closer. PM me if you need the phone number.

York is 2 hours, 19 minutes. Lol. I seem to be living in the wrong area... Lol.

trust me, I know that feeling. I live in central WV which is a herp desert. I drive 2+ hours to Pittsburgh. Cheaper than shipping live rodents would be, since they'd have to be shipped airfreight.

Lol. To make it worse, to find any dumbo rats or true hairless rats, I have to drive about an hour and a half. Lol. At least I can get the snakes themselves shipped to my door for a reasonable price. I did find ASF rats that were being shipped, but, well, it cost $20 for a female and $10 for a male, plus $45 to ship. I'll be damned if I'm going to pay $95 for a trio of rats. I may be able to talk hubby into going to a reptile show, but I'm half afraid of dragging home a bearded dragon along with any ASF rats if the hubby goes with.

2 hours, 33 minutes. I'm seriously right smack in the middle of everything. I'm definately going to have to find a way to convince the husband that we just have to go to a reptile show. Lol.

Yes, Rick from RKZ Rodents. He is from York, but goes to Hamburg. In addition, there are probably three or four other vendors. Get there early. They seem to sell out of rats late in the day.

Stephanie of Triple Moon Exotics breeds them - she's in PA.
    Might try contacting her.

Well, I may have found some that I have access to. They're a tad over two hours away, however, the seller may be willing to transport some to Altoona, which is only about an hour away. He's got 6 unrelated trios. :)
