Anyway, as i said in my intro thread, my soon to be BP is still in egg form and its gonna be a LONG wait (not really but it feels like it) before he or she can be mailed to me and be in my hot little hands. here are some pics from my friend.

yeah she had mentioned she was worried about a few of them, but has seen babies hatch from eggs she was 95% sure didn't have anything in them. so we shall see. i'm no expert, far from it.

You need to get your humidity up. They should not be that sunken in so early into incubation.

Those eggs will shrivel up and die if they don't have more humidity...

They should not look like that..

They appear to be in a hovabator...those are the greatest vessels for holding humidity. Hopefully your friend has a decent thermostat on that, bumps up the humidity and they hatch fine.

People here are just going to be shocked that the eggs are like that only 1 month in.

:weirdface The eggs should be be in a separate egg box with damp substrate (vermiculite, perlite or hatchrite) or water and an egg crate to hold them out of the water (non substrate method). Those eggs look severely dehydrated and if the babies inside are still alive they may not be for long.

What he and everyone else is trying to tell you is that most people use a digital device to carefully track temps and humidity during the incubation process and that for only one month in, those eggs don't look good. We're just trying to prepare you for a poor outcome unless those eggs are tended to more carefully. You may end up with dead hatchlings, deformed hatchlings...really all sorts of things can happen.

If your breeder friend is struggling with incubation, please encourage them to come here and we'll do what we can to help.

Tosha is so right!!! If using a hovabator you need to use substratless method with A LOT of water in your mixture. Those eggs are not going to make it -- if they are not already too far gone. I would try and seal box with Press and Seal. Good Luck.:)

    I love the Daddy! :D

But again, as everyone else said, tell your friend that he should boost the humidity up a little bit.

You guys, he's only been here a day, has never had a snake before, and these eggs aren't even his, stop yelling at him.

But back to the OP, I really hope you get a cute little baby and I hope to be flooding with pictures! Waiting for the snake is just part of the fun!

Thank you I was thinking the same thing. READ before you post guys your going to scare him away! They are not his eggs... well one of them is his but not yet it hasn't hatched. I'm sorry to say but they look really far gone.... I really hope your friends catch this in time. If worst comes to worst I'm sorry and I'm sure you will be able to find a better breeder on B-P.Net. Good luck:gj:
