Re: would you use..
Maybe I am not sure for the money it is a good investment. I think I would go with a rack, but I don't see why it couldn't work.

Re: would you use..
this are just to hard to maintain humidity and if you are gonna use with small bps they are easy to get out of and figure the cost of 4 or 5 of these and the cost of heat and you could buy a reptiles basic 5 hole rack with heat and you have something ment for your snake lol just my 2 cents the website is reptilebasics.com they are great

Re: would you use..
I think the snakes would likely get out. I actually have those drawers, in white, for my cloths. In my opinion they would not be secure enough.

I see yer point but the price yousaw was for a set of 4.. and i was just wondering if they could be stacked and maintained like a rack.. with the proper tools of course.. but then again it's just a theroy and a question .. I have already made plans to get a rack on reptile basics.. i just thought this would be a less expensive rout and I've never had a rack before so I cant tell the difference..

Good choice. I think everyone on this forum is in agreement. Reptile Basics has nice racks and cages.

Re: would you use..
ok.. so I think i'm gonns get the 32 quarrt 4 drawer set with heat.. but should i get belly or back heat?

Re: would you use..
most people go with belly heat. Don't know the size of your bp, but I would suggest getting the tub splitters along with the rack for a smaller snake. I have this set-up and love it!

Re: would you use..
what's the difference between the iris tubs this gentleman uses to make his racks and the iris tubs you find at walmart or home depot?
-
Re: would you use..
I have seen someone take one of the stacks of these and make a rack out of it. If you secure the drawers with a catch they actually work "ok". Still a very large chance of a break out though.....LOL

Re: would you use..
This may sound paranoid, but most walmart stuff is made in china. I would be worried about the plastic they use, it is not intended for storing food, is there a worry it may contain toxic chemicals?

Re: would you use..
I've had two similar tub / drawer sets. One, in shoebox size, made an adequate feeding enclosure. The others, rather larger, were a dismal failure as a quarrantine rig. My female pastel took under ten minutes to push the tub out of its casing and worm her way behind it. Repeatedly. (I suppose you could say that's a good thing, as it meant she did it while I was watching, and not a couple of hours later when I would be away or asleep...) Standard tubs, with lids that can be secured with a few binder clips are working better for me - but then again, my (You guessed it!) RBI rack works best of all.
