My youngest brother recently had emergency surgery for a staph infection gone very wrong, and although he's recovering it hasn't gone quite as smoothly as we'd hoped.

Prayer sent. I'm glad it's getting better. I burned my finger in Daytona and it turned into a nasty staph infection (or something close to it) after fishing with spoiled shrimp. It was a 2mm blister that ended up eating a 1/2" wide hole in my finger. 2x daily soaks in a chlorihexadine and peroxide solution finally healed it. The last of the scab just fell off today.

My thoughts are with you and your family, K. I hope that your bro pulls free of this soon, and things get back to normal as fast as possible. ::hugs::
