Re: Rack system
If you decide to build make sure you buy your tubs and then build your rack around the tubs, rather than build a rack and then finding out you can't find any tubs to fit in it.
for buying also check out Animal Plastics @ http://www.animalplastics.com/

Re: Rack system
I don't know how much you want to spend but If money is not an issue the Freedom Breeder racks are hands down the best. I hit the jackpot this weekend and found one on Craig's List. I have always been a big fan of tanks and I still have several set up along with some homemade racks, but I am absolutely sold on the Freedom Breeders!!!

Re: Rack system
I bought some of the animal plastics economy racks. Great price and a great product. You can't go wrong with them.

Re: Rack system
Right now I have two 32qt Boaphile Racks. I like them quite a bit; a lot of people complain about the lead time of 5 weeks but its never been an issue for me since I always am planning ahead. www.boaphile.com
With that said I'm going to be checking out reptilebasics.com when I pick up a 41qt rack for my girls that are getting bigger.

Re: Rack system
www.pvccages.com makes sweet cages and racks! Rich at reptile basics makes nice racks too, i have a couple of his as well. Good luck.

Re: Rack system
Chimpkin can you post a pic up of yours? Did you go with the heat rope they give or use heat tape?

Re: Rack system
Reptile Basics racks are the way to go. Fully assembled, heat included, ready to go. I use them for all of my hatchling and sub-adult balls and love them.
Hope this helps.

Re: Rack system
Well, I built my own rack for my adults. The step by step instructions with pictures are up on my web site, the link to which is in my sig: 'Grove of the Magi'.
I have future plans to build a hatchling rack, a subadult rack, and a cage system for my corns. I like to build...I just wish I had better tools and more space. :)
