    Fedex! Geeeez!
    Hey guys,
Well, I ordered a Spider from Brian at BHB, and it was Priority overnighted. Suppose to be here by 10:30am, Well it's almost 1:00PM, still no fedex! Im stressing the BLANK out. The fedex terminal where it was put in route from is 15 minutes from my shop. It was put in route for delivery at 9am... Still NO snake

Is it drizzling, or is the wind any faster than 5 mph? I think that would make the conditions what Fedex calls extreme weather. Good luck getting it delivered safely. I'm sure it will be fine.

yeah, Fedex is ridiculous. Me and my friend together ordered a pair of pastels priority overnight, supposed to be delivered by 10:30am, and they didnt show up until past 3:00PM. needless to say, we were a LITTLE ticked.

No, Wallace. It's 82F, Sunny and Calm. It couldn't get much more perfect ( Unless I had my new Spider Ball ). I know, I am getting a bit nervous. I picture some fat slob, FedEx driver parked in sun soaked parking lot of an Arbys scarfing down some Roast Beef sandwiches. While my baby sit's in the back, roasting. If he gets here, and has arbys sauce on his lips, Im punching him in the chest LOL.

Another 40 minutes gone by, still no snake. I called and was like, hey my package was suppose to be here over 3 hours ago.. I got " Ok, I see that it was suppose to be there at 10:30.. Ill try to get in touch with the drive to see whats going on.. cuz Im not driving so I cant do much else "

We need robots to do everything, replace all jobs currently filled by humans with robots. Humans are too unpredictable and lazy. Humans can keep some of the jobs, like... Uhm... What are human goods at...Nevermind. give the jobs to robots...

I've had this happen too. Didn't get it until the afternoon. I feel like some of the drivers disregard time sensitive shipments and just take off on whatever route they please.

Last week I shipped my BEL paradox Fedex priority and also recived some snakes the same day. My driver showed up 2 1/2 hours late, and he looked stoned out of his mind. My paradox finally arrived in Miami 5 1/2 hours late. So much for guarantees.

Alright, so get this! I get a call at 3:30, from the local FedEx saying there driver dropped the package back off at the office and I needed to come pick it up, because " He didn't feel comfortable delivering it ". WTF. Shouldn't they refund the shipping cost, since they didn't SHIP it? lol

    They did ship it.

I prefer to pick up at the hub, then I know it isn't riding around in a truck all morning and the possibility of being delayed by a stupid driver is gone.

wow that's ridiculous. I would ask for a refund or something on that or a freakin coupon for a frosty something anything lol. That's just messed up its a legit shipment and it's not like the snake is gonna be wrapped around the guys leg while he's driving, though come to think of it that would be pretty funny to see, you get your snake with a shipping label wrapped around it and have to pry it off the guys leg in your front doorway lol:D

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. What, the snake was going to bite him through the box if he touched the box?!?

Even if he was scared to touch the box, he could have knocked on your door, and had you walk out to the truck with him and you could have picked it up.

Instead, he choose to drive around all day with this terrifying animal in his truck instead of delivering it and getting rid of it? Yeah, like that would have been wise if the snake really was dangerous!

At least you got your snake and it was ok.

Since you will likely have the same driver -- you might want to make mental note to receive your further shipments at the hub.

I am sure there is some blurb in the Fedex contract that states if a driver doesn't feel safe delivering a package they don't have to.

At least he arrived safe -- post picts of the new arrival.

    Re: Fedex! Geeeez!
I have had some packages arrive late to people lately.
You'll get nowhere asking for even a partial refund.
Even if it is clear and sunny and on the truck hours before the scheduled delivery, they will claim it is due to the weather and not refund anything.

As far as the driver not delivering it, call the main company. I had a guy that would throw boxes up my stairs onto the porch because he didn't want to touch the boxes for too long and when he was told he couldn't do that anymore, tried claiming it was not deliverable due to being a non-existant address. I want this guy fired or at the very least suspended so he doesn't pull this any more.

I have no patience for drivers like this. I would be on the phone right now demanding they reprimand the driver and refund the shipping fees.

I have yet to have one ship on time. When I got the box from Tosha this week he around 40 min late and I was crossing my fingers hoping it would not turn into a situation like this.

    Re: Fedex! Geeeez!
Thing to remember about FedEx, is that most of the routes are sub contracted out. What I mean by that is, peope buy Fedex routes. The driver either owns that route or works for the bloke that does, and really does not work directly for FedEx. It is a really wierd set up / system they have.

Since you paid for a time specific delivery, and you KNOW it wasn't a weather dely, you should be able to get a partial refund. Unfortunately, I think the shipper is the one that has to put up the stink to get it.
