What should my next snake be?
I will be saving up my money for another addition this fall/winter :) The question is, what will it be? I really want a boa but I decided I'm going to wait for next year to get one, so that by the time it gets big I will have already graduated.
I want something
-For a pet not for breeding.
-Manageable size since I move back and forth from home twice a year because I'm in college.
-Not too delicate, because like I said I will need to move it periodically.
I already have two balls and a corn so you tell me what the next "must-have" will be for my collection :)
Re: What should my next snake be?
Well I would say a boa, but you stated that you were going to wait. ;). So.....I would have to say, a boa. :)
Re: What should my next snake be?
I always wanted a carpet. Still do in fact. I know how people feel about hybrids but the carpet/ball cross was an amazing looking snake.

Re: What should my next snake be?
I suggest a carpet. They're very pretty and a lot of people have a lot of fun with them.
The next runner up for me would be a blood. I don't know anything about short-tails and you sound like you want something new.
Or you could go the cheapest and buy a reeeeally pretty corn snake, like the lavender hypo or an opal or something awesome.
Just my idea. ;]
Re: What should my next snake be?
Id go for an IJ.
Carpets are really easy to manage, and they look good :)

I have wanted an IJ for quite some time. They are so gorgeous. Although I also love how bloods/short-tails look. I wonder if a carpet would be easier to manage than a blood/short-tail? Probably, right?
Re: What should my next snake be?
A green tree python or a Woma python.

Ah yes, I'm gaining experience at my Ball Python at the moment. So far everything is perfect, then maybe next year I'll surely get some blood. :snake: I got hook on littleindiangirl's blood. :D:yes::yes:
Re: What should my next snake be?
Well i've always wanted a carpet. Bloods are great. Borneo Short Tails are super cool. Many say that they are a bit more docile than red bloods and stay a bit smaller (Kara's Beefcake aside)LOL
Re: What should my next snake be?
Holy crap, I just found out I'm getting my first paycheck for my new job on October 3... and guess what... NE reptile show is October 4!!:banana:
Considering P. curtus and P. brongersmai what are the major differences in temperment?
Re: What should my next snake be?
I'd love to see a teal phase( i think that's what they are called) green tree python
