kerry king at NARBC anaheim

I was so excited yesterday I got to meet Kerry King (guitarist from Slayer). I had no idea he was there until Some guy was talking to Tom Baker about how he had met him here a few years back and then very nonchalantly Baker say "oh yeah hes here today" Of course me and my friend think to ourselves BS but sure enough he was only like 4 tables down. So of course we walked down and met him sadly I did not have my camera :( I could have used my phone but was too excited/nervous to remember lol. Well thats my story not too interesting but I just figured I would share.

Interesting story to me,but I am a Slayer fan.A pic would have been cool too.Was he checkin' out anything in particular?

No he was actually working at a table. Funny thing is that I had been buy that table a few times already checking out the carpets there and didnt even see him lol.

Kerry King is the man! That's pretty cool.

Yeah I was shootin the breeze with him for a while, Baker and I were crackin up sayin that I should go shred guitar after shaking his hand, just so I rock!!! LOL

All those carpets he had, were his. Hes been doin it for a bunch of years, I was actually really honored by the way he just TALKED to me, and when we were all finished talking, HE shook my hand, not the other way around. I was shocked.....I didnt even offer, he did.

Was way cool!



ps....Hes cooler than Nigel Marvin by ten fold!!!!

Yeah still wish I had my camera though oh well there will be more times im sure.

It was cool to get to meet him! I think I want a Tiger Jag or a Diamond/Jungle Jag! Saw quite a few at the show making me very jealous!:( I think he had some?

That's awesome. I would have flipped out. I love Slayer, and I found out a couple of years ago that King was into carpet pythons from a youtube video of him and his racks. I doubt he'll ever make it to Tinley.

my Amarali is from a Kerry King bloodline. I thought about naming the boa 'Slayer' but chickened out :)
