anybody got a pic of an older pewter?
Re: anybody got a pic of an older pewter?
I think it's no secret that I think the best pewters produced are produced by Albey:

His Sterlings aren't too shabby either (but more adult sterling pictures in this post too)

Oh.........My.............God............... I have to have a sterling............. Ok lemme do a little math here....... I get a cinny male next year and breed him to my pastel girl in 10 and hit the odds and get a pewter (male or female I'm gettin a pastel male soon) hopefully male so in 2011 I can make a sterling!!!!! That is such a long way away but I'm willing to wait it out for a snake that dang HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT ONE!!!! LOL. Anyone have any pictures of them as they get older? I can only imagine they get even hotter.

Here is a picture of the same Pewter in the thread that Robin posted. It was taken just today and he is two years and a few months old. Like all older Ball’s he has lost a bit of contrast but he still looks pretty fine.

Albey,
Great pics and animals as always! Are you using any filters or effects in Photoshop?

Thanks,
I don’t use any actual effects or filters under the Filters Menu (except the Unsharp Mask) but my Photoshop work flow is as follows – Crop, Resize, Levels to adjust White and Black Point and add a little Mids to the Histogram, Unsharp Mask to sharpen the photo, then my favorite under The Image Adjustments Menu the Shadow/Highlight Command, and then I add a little Contrast to bring some sparkle into the picture.

Hey Albey do you have any pictures of the sterling that you kept out of that other clutch? I'd love to see how they hold up as they get older :D

Here is a picture of him breeding about four months ago.

Here is one I took today. He is getting ready to go into shed soon so he is a little darker in color than usual. The top of him is still a very pretty silver color with the cream colored sides.
