What is the Most Expensive Ball Python Morph in the Market?

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone can post pictures and prices of the most expesive Ball Python Morph. Just to know....

That changes constantly with new combos being created all the time.

I know, but I mean right now, for example this past weekend in the Daytona show what you guys saw there or heared.

This is just for fun and general knowledge, also to know new morph in the market and their prices and pictures of course.

It's simple and like I said just for fun and general knowlegde. If you know any very very expensive morph post a picture, the price and the morph name. If you don't know the answer just keep looking at this post and someone will post it.

That's 2 Bananas and a Banana Clown...I remember last year Will Still was trying to sell a BC for about $75K...I would think a realistic price would be $25K...

I was gonna say banana too. I dont knoe the price but I know they are extremely rare.

Also i would think a Platinum, not a lesser... Ralphie doesnt sell those....

I would guess the new tri-stripe is somewhere between extremely pricey and NFS.

Ralph does sell those, but not for cheap, he also sells the normals that he thinks holds the trait for his plattys

It all depends on what people are willing to pay. I could put a clutch of baby pastels up on KS for $50,000 each. Does that mean it's the most expensive morph?

I just want to see what people's opinion is regarding what gives a snake value. Anyone can sell any BP at any price. Is there really any way to determine the most expensive morph?

I'd have to say that the "value" of the morph would be directly proportional to it's rarity. The more commonplace the morph, the lower its market value and visa versa.

NERD sold that Phantom for 20K didn't they? I think that's pretty pricey.

Do you know anyone or have you ever spend that kind of money in a BP? Was it for colection or thinking that the investment wil be recovered?

I don't recall the morph, but there was a story floating about that a few years back, a Japanese businessman paid $250,000 for a rare ball python to serve at a board meeting to impress the executives. I wish I knew the full story on that one.

I guess no matter what hobby/passion/obsession you look at there will be people who are willing to break the bank to have the very best. Personally, I wouldn't spend more than $1000 on a BP, and if there was one I really HAD to have I'd either wait until the price came down or try to breed it myself.

I agree that rarity usually determines value, but demand is also a big factor. A rare BP isn't worth anything if no one wants to buy it.
